    Im part of a group of LSU students working with Volunteers in Public Schools as
    it seeks partnerships that will impact the education and lives of children in East
    Baton Rouge Parish public schools. As you may know from your involvement
    with VIPS Principal for a Day Program, one of VIPS main needs is volunteers.
    VIPS faces a lack of diversity among its volunteers despite the EBR school
    system being so diverse. We would like to meet with you to discuss partnership
    opportunities between organizations and individuals at Southern University with
    VIPS.
    We understand that your schedule is busy, but we would greatly appreciate you
    taking the time to meet with us at your earliest convenience.
