    Im part of a group of LSU students working with Volunteers in Public Schools as
    it seeks partnerships that will impact the education and lives of children in East
    Baton Rouge Parish public schools. As you may know from your involvement
    with VIPS Principal for a Day Program, one of VIPS main need is volunteers.
    My group met with Dr. Roland Mitchell Monday to discuss how we can reach
    and involve more education-focused organizations on campus, and he gave us
    some great suggestions, as well as recommended we reach out to you to
    discuss additional ideas you may have.
    We understand that your schedule is busy, but we would greatly appreciate you
    taking the time to meet with us at your earliest convenience.
