Greetings:
Ms. Sarah Trott is a young professional who I would highly recommend for hire. I was one of Ms.
Trotts advisors and had her in several courses at WSU. She will graduate from Winona State University
(WSU) with degrees in Health Education and Elementary Education. Since her resume outlines her
involvement in education, I will take this opportunity to discuss my observations of her as a student and
educator.
I was one of Ms. Trotts advisors and taught her in several courses at Winona State University. As part of
the methods courses, her responsibilities throughout these experiences included effectively
communicating with the cooperating teachers, setting up agreed upon teaching dates, and submitting
complete lesson plans prior to each lesson taught. One of her field experience cooperating teachers stated
her success in the classroom the best, She has the skills of a tenured teacher.
Ms. Trott is a lifelong learner and a leader. She is the type of educator we need in our schools. She will
not settle; her creativity and enthusiasm will be effective when it comes to having to meet the challenges
in education. She brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm into a classroom. She has a natural talent
when it comes to getting others to get involved and in providing positive reinforcement so everyone feels
like they are part of whatever community she is working with.
I consider Ms. Trott a colleague who is and will continue to promote healthy decision making and life
long learning to our youth. She is an outstanding person and educator. I would highly recommend Ms.
