Subject Pronouns in Spanish

The subject pronouns in Spanish are listed below:


SINGULAR

you (familiar)

you (familiar, masc. or mixed)


you (familiar, feminine)

usted

you (formal)

ustedes

you (familiar and formal)

he, it

ellos

they (masculine or mixed)

ella

she, it

ellas

they (feminine)

Note: They only use the vosotros (as) form in the country of Spain. In this class, we will
always use the ustedes form when talking about you in the plural. Ustedes is used as
both the familiar and the formal in Latin America which is the way we will use it as well.
