RE; Reference Letter For Juli Pothier
It is with great pleasure that we are writing this leter of recommendation for Jule Pothier.
Julic began working for us, on a parttime basis, May 29, 2007 for a two month period ending July 28".
2007, During this time she also held a fulltime position at another business in our community. She
functioned in a couple of positions within our clinic, including; physiotherapy aid and administrative
assistant. We were all sad to see Julie leave our staff at the end of July and return to Quebec.
‘The plysiotherapy aid position requires the individual to assist the physiotherapists in direct treatment of
the patient, The physio aid brings the patient into the treatment cubicle, makes sure that they are
comfortable and supplied with the linens and gowns that they will need during treatment. They also follow
the physiotherapists instructions to set the patient up with heat, ice packs etc. and readies the modalities
(including: computerized traction, T.E.N.S., muscle stimulation, ultrasound and interferential) thatthe
‘therapist will use during treatment. Other job duties include cleaning treatment equipment, treatment
‘eubicles, linens and the clinic in general. During busy times the nature of the job requires someone who
can think and work fast, as they may be assisting up 0 three therapists, and yet pay attention to detail and
instructions. Physiotherapy isa service business. The individuals working in this environment are in
constant contact with our clients and must be "people persons” and have the clients best interests at hear.
ilvuals wito do not fit these criteria seem to very quickly have difficuties in the job and do n0tiast
Julie leamed these duties extremely quickly. I would say that she quite likely learned the job faster than
‘any other person that we have had inthis position. She not only proved to be a very quick learner but also
‘a “people person” who had the patient's best interest atleart. Our patients recognized this and they
appreciated it, I would have been very pleased to have been able to keep her asa permanent staff member,
Juli also assisted inthe administration area; doing fing pulling chars and making sure they were dated
slamped and completed. She took onthe oncrons tas of sorting through or filing system to combine
double files and to archive any files more than 10 years old. ‘This was a task that needed to be done but that
nobody else had enough time for. Julie took on this tsk with enthusiasm and dedication completing i in
surprisingly short period of time, We were able to send off 14 boxes of files to archives, reorganize the
cabinets and shelves and open up significant space within ovr fling system for future filing requirements
We have no reservations whatsoever writing a lelter of recommendation for Julie. She is a very capable
very personable young lady, one of integrity and dedication to task. We can say with certainty that she has
‘lot (o contribute and will strive to do her best in whatever position she acquires in the future. We wish
hor the very best in her future endeavors,
Yours sincerely,
