If your mind is empty, it is always ready for anything, it is open to everything. In the beginners
mind there are many possibilities, but in the experts there are few.
I think this quote is about childlike curiosity. Children are so willing to accept strange ideas and
stories. With maturity, one usually becomes more doubtful. I dont think having an empty mind
means someone is unintelligent. I think it means to keep room for other ideas and concepts
outside oneself. I can relate this quote to music and songwriting. If one knows extensively about
music theory, that person will likely adhere to the rules of theory. However, if one knows little,
they can go beyond the common practice into something thats uncharted territory.

This entry demonstrates being a questioner because I go underneath the surface of what it means
to be mature. Some people think that it is wisdom that makes one doubtful and cautious.
However, I challenge that with the mindset that it is good to be open to outlandish ways of
thinking.
