If Id had another 24 hours to work on my topic proposal, I would have tried to learn
more about the history of hip hop and key artists. I would have listened to as many key artists as
I could and looked up the lyrics. It also could help to watch Straight Outta Compton. Theres
always more articles to read too.

This entry demonstrates analytic thinking because I reflected on what I could do to improve my
topic proposal. At the beginning, I simply wrote about areas where I needed to invest more of my
research. Then, I began to list other things that I thought I need to know more about. I organized
them by where I could find the information: the library, online, or both.
