In this age every body is a consumer as every body buys product and services for
consumption .
I am a smart consumer as I am aware of my rights, duties and responsibilities as
a consumer.
I am a aware of legislation to protect interest of consumer.
I am aware of national consumer policy which ensures that good, services and
technology are available to consumer at reasonable prices and acceptable
standards of quality.
I am aware of consumer movement which promotes consumer welfare.
Department of consumer affairs Protects the rights and interests of consumers. It
empowers the consumers by making them aware about their right and
responsibilities.
I am aware of despute resolution mechanism exclusively for consumers to protect
the interest of consumers. There is three tier quasi judicial consumer dispute
redressal machinary at National Level, State Level and District Level .
I am aware of rights of consumers. They are as follows:
