Please add specific comments about the student teachers observed strengths during this teaching
practicum and identify areas in which you feel further development is necessary.
Observed Strengths:

Areas in which further development is needed:

You did not spend much time providing whole class

instructions. Concept of the lesson was introduced and
students quickly started working on the task. Lesson was
very student centered.
Students seem to have a very good grasp of the life cycle
of plants.
Rules were constantly being reinforce. For example,
students were reminded to raise their green card as a sign
they have completed the assignment.
You have facilitated the lesson very well by walking around
and assisting students.

All in all, lesson plan needed more details to fully understand

what the lesson will be about.
Above was one of my comments to you from last observation about
providing more details in the lesson plan
Your explore did not describe the activity, it did not list the
materials needed nor did it list any clarifying questions
The evaluate section simply states Mark Worksheet You must be
descriptive as to how you will determine whether or not the
objectives of the lesson were met.
If the worksheet was one of the classwork, simply explain.
All the students appear to be able to read the life cycle of a plant. U
Use higher order thinking questions to challenge the students. For
example, Ahmed would like to plant date tree, Must Ahmed Buy
seeds? Do all plants have seeds?
Differentiate the lesson by providing more challenging work to
advanced students.

General Comments: Very student centered lesson. You need to work more on completing your lesson plan by providing as much
details as possible.
