Specific Observable Objective(s): Students perception of future transportation
Essential Vocabulary: Future, Transportation
Assessment: The students completed drawling of their idea of what a type of
transportation in the future will look like
Student Considerations: Some students work at different paces than other
students, some students may not think that future transportation will look any
different than transportation today
Instructional Resources, Materials, and Technology: Paper for the students to
draw on and crayons
PROCEDURES:
Each student will be given this assignment as morning work one morning
throughout the unit learning time. Once the students have come in from the buses,
unpacked, signed up for lunch, and have come back from breakfast they will be
given the instructions and paper to color on. Their crayons should be at their desks
already. (Time Varies)
Once the student has received their materials, they may work on this
assignment at their own pace. They may use any books in the back as a resource.
Students should take their time completing their drawings. (20-30 Minutes)
Once students have completed their work, they should share with the teacher
their transportation drawing what it is and what it is for. Then students may put
their drawing in the to go home side of their folder and they may read from their
own books or the books on the bookshelf. (2-5 Minutes)
