will be in groups of 2-3. We will


play jeopardy on the smart board. This will
give the students an opportunity to work
with the smartboard, working in groups, and
learn to efficiently analyze the novel.

OVERVIEW

based on the novel we are reading. They


will be able to interact with the smartboard
which will engage them in a different way
than previously. Questions that would be
asked would be what is the main characters
name, who is the person that set up the
main character? what is the purpose of
chapter two?, what can we assume will
happen after ____ happens? I expect the
students to have a basic understanding of
the smart board and to have read the novel

Students will be asked to write a short summary


after playing jeopardy.

Students obtaining basic knowledge will put them


ahead of the rest. They will be able to interact
with the smartboard with a purpose. They will
have a brief overview of the smart board prior to
playing jeopardy and I will answer follow up
questions after to ensure they picked up the skills.

The students will have a brief overview of the


smart board prior to playing jeopardy. Once
they have had this overview and we have played
the game, I will follow up with questions about
the smartboard.

We will utilize the Smartboard that is in our


classroom and answer questions pertaining to
the novel.
Students will be in groups of 2-3
Students will answer the questions asked
They will earn bonus points for the upcoming
papers based on the number of questions
answered correctly. (Up to 5 bonus points)
Students will learn how to analyze the novel
Students will learn how to use the Smart
board

I will only ask the questions to the students and


keep up with the score. They will interact with
the smart board and play the game on the smart
board. By using the smart board students will
be more interested than if I gave them a quiz
over the novel. By using the smart board we are
building knowledge and skills from our novel and
the smart board. The students will be expected
to collaborate with one as well as others in the
class.
