Belgo Wire Rod is produced at the Monlevade
and Juiz de Fora Steel Mills. A hot-rolled product
fabricated as low-, medium-, and high-carbon content
and low alloy, a raw material for a number of steel
productswires for steel wool, fasteners, springs,
electrodes and MIG welding; products for farming,
building & construction, electrification, ropes, tendons,
steel cord for radial wires, and polished products
for white goods; bars for the mechanical industry;
steel for helical springs and shock absorbers;
plus a number of other products. Belgo Wire Rod is
champion in the national and Latin American markets,
with steel cord standing out in the international
market.

Every product has an identification tag indicating the type of steel, deoxidization, quality grade, diameter,
production run and partition, coil number and weight, and bar code. A Quality Certificate is supplied
containing the chemical composition. Mechanical properties and metallographic characteristics may be
included in the certificate.
