Instr. Santos outlines 4 golden rules for the classroom: 1) There are no right or wrong answers, only effort; 2) Students must show respect to one another despite language barriers; 3) No excuses are accepted for lack of effort, as all students face challenges but must still try their best; 4) Students should freely speak their minds and participate to invest in themselves, their class, and classmates.

Santos 4 Golden Rules 1. There are no WRONG or RIGHT answers, there is only Effort and lack thereof.
2. RESPECT. No Questions asked.
We are all learning to communicate in a different language, most likely one that is not used as often. We will communicate with each other with respect before anything else.
3. NO EXCUSES. We all have problems and situations happening
outside the classroom. However, these situations should NOT be taken advantage of to not give your best effort. Give your best effort in everything that you do.
Your future self will appreciate it.
4. Speak your mind and Participate. Do not be afraid to express
yourself. This is what it means to come to class. By
participating you are demonstrating your investment in this class, your fellow classmates, and most importantly, YOURSELF.
