Big Doubt About the Future

By: dina anggraini

People believe that human life is a paradox so do I, composed of joys and sorrows. If
today we are happy, tomorrow may be sad and vice versa. Some people may already feel
secure about their future because they were born into a family that guarantees it. Do you
know? Anyone who tells you they have no doubts about their future is lying to you. But not
me, I will tell you about my doubts.

Doubt is an instinctual feeling all of us human beings get as part of a warning sign to
heed all possibilities, negative or positive. That warning is known to us, quite simply, as fear.
Fear becomes a huge factor once the fight or flight process starts. We either get intimidated by
the negative and let that paralyze us into not doing what is our focus now. I know what I
should do is light or take those negative possibilities and use them to my advantage to help me
succeed.

Unfortunately, most of us stop once we start to doubt. so do I, the more I feel

abandoned by most of the people who have dared to step up, the fear of failure arises in me. I
have seen those around me fail frequently. It did not rule out the possibility that it happened
to me. Seeing how usually I am compared to other people leads me to the question “will I be
successful in the future? , I wondered what my life will be like when I reach a mature age.
What will I have accomplished? Will I have any regrets? What will keep me up at night? All that
Lost in my own thoughts.

We may be living through times of authentic change, but in uncertainty lies the power
to influence the future. Now is not the time to despair, but to act. It's learning to utilize the
courage to stand in the face of failure despite the possibilities, that allow us to feel pride. True
pride… to look back on a trial or tribulation and say “Yes… I just did that !!! I got through it
unscathed !!! I'm proud of that! "
Majid N. Al-Amri (2020), PRINCIPLES OF LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR EXPANDING AND
IMPROVING CLASSROOM INPUT STRATEGIES, Taibah University

By: Dina Anggraini

The objectives of this study were to analyzes the possible application of the principles of
language teaching and learning to expand and improve classroom input strategies. The data of this
study were collected from 33 EFL student teachers participated in the study for 4 weeks using Likert-
type surveys, written assessments and a third-party interview. The results of this study indicated that
participants exhibited a high level of knowledge perception and show a high level of content
knowledge on the written test. It is proven by the existence of students express positive attitudes
towards the learning approach (grounding the input strategy into established teaching and learning
principles).

As the implication, in my point of view although this research shows some weaknesses that
teachers have, such as: sometimes teachers experience fear of unwanted achievement, this is very
necessary to be designed so that teachers understand what the needs of students are in accordance
with the principles. In fact, if the principles of teaching language are properly applied by teachers, it can
increase a high level of attention to the learning and classroom understanding of their students
through critical teaching. This is very important for teachers so that the learning environment created
in the classroom is conceptual and has a positive effect on teacher teaching to students.

4 types of school children when asked for cheat, which one are you? When
there is a challenging test, are you tempted to ask for a cheat sheet?

One of the memories that we will never forget from school is the critical moment when the
exam was about to finish, but there are still questions that have not been answered. It is at times
like these that we who are desperate to start looking for emergency help, aka looking for friends
who are kind will help us. Of course, not all of your friends want to share their answers and the
various reactions they show. If the position is reversed, which will be your reaction?

"Anyway, no!"

It can't be bothered at all when he's doing it, usually this is the type of overachiever who will
share answers after the test is over. It's not that you don't want to help you, but just being lazy to
help you once will make you addicted to cheating, so you can just be patient!

"Wait, I'm still working on it .."

This type is sometimes the most annoying, how or not? I already know that his friend wants to
steal the moment, but instead of supporting him, he gives false hopes. Usually they want to buy
time so

that you don't ask for answers anymore, it's better to try to answer yourself instead of
waiting!
"It's okay, just give me a code later"

Well, this one is more flexible, even though you have to bother determining certain codes that
he will send before the exam time starts. Standard codes that are made are by using a particular
writing

instrument knock or coughing sound. But it could be that the test supervisor immediately
knows

what you are doing.

Pretend to sleep

Usually this schoolchild prefers to close his eyes after answering all the questions. Even though
I

was still a long time, it's better to close your eyes at the table, don't want to look left and right
to offer help. If you find something like this, it's better to do it yourself!

Of the four types above, which one do you really think of? Or do you prefer to ask for a cheat sheet
than to give an answer? Whatever your position will be, remember what you do during the exam is
to do a test to find out how much you understand the material. If you cheat and pass it, you will be
surprised when there is an important test!

“Bentar, aku masih ngerjain..”

Udah tau temennya mau curi- curi
moment, tapi bukannya mendukung malah ngasih harapan palsu. Biasanya sih mereka ingin

mengulur waktu agar kamu nggak lagi minta jawaban, mending coba jawab sendiri deh daripada

nungguin!

“Gapapa, nanti kasih kode aja”
