EDUCATIONAL
LEADERSHIP

Presenter at the Marquette-Alger Young Authors Conference May 2015 and 2014
Planned and facilitated a week long workshop for over 300 students from the community, allowing
the young authors the opportunity to create and learn. Each year, a childrens book author is
present at the conference and the workshops were based off one of the authors books. In these
particular workshops the students listened to a read aloud of the authors book and used the
information or story to create a piece of artwork.
