Bank Rakyat Indonesia (People's Bank of Indonesia, commonly known as BRI or Bank BRI) is one

of the larger banks in Indonesia. BRI is the oldest bank in Indonesia, tracing back since 1896. It is
currently 70% government owned operating company (Persero) and has been government-owned
for the entire period since the war of independence (1945 to 1949) to November 2003, when 30% of
its shares were sold through an IPO. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) was established in Purwokerto,
Central Java by Raden Bei Aria Wirjaatmadja. BRI was incorporated on December 16, 1895, which
later becomes the anniversary of BRI. during the Dutch colonial period as Help and Savings Bank for
Purwokerto's Aristocrats. The president director of BRI now is Asmawi Syam. And the deputy
president director now is Sunarso. The commissioner of BRI now is Mustafa Abubakar, and the vice
commissioner of BRI now is Gatot Trihargo. Products from BRI related to technology are MoCash,
Brizzi,TBank, Mobile BRI, Teras BRI, BRIs SMS Banking, BRIs Phone Banking, BRIs Internet

from BRI are Visa Card and Master Credit Card. The reason of me why choose to go to BRI are to
develop myself, serve the people of my country, I want to go to BUMN company, and the most
reasen is BRI is the larger and oldest bank in Indonesia.
