Work Experience:
Assistant CoachSharks Swim Team ( May 2014) Woodland Wahoos (May through
August 2015 Supervisor: Assistant Coach Cessi Kaim: I assisted the group
coaches in providing stroke technique instruction to the swimmers. This required
both individual and group instruction.
Swimming InstructorSharks Swim Team (September 2008 through May 2014)
Supervisor: Cessi Kaim: Provided instruction for swimmers aged four through eight
at the most basic level. This included water safety as well as stroke technique.
LifeguardDouglas Aquatics, Community Pools and American Pools (Summers of
2011 through 2015): Performed lifeguarding duties including water safety, pool
maintenance and other duties as assigned. During my time as a lifeguard I was
promoted to pool manager.
Volunteer Experience:
Volunteer at the Peninsula SPCA during the school years from 2013 2015 : Helped
care for various animals in their care such as cleaning up after them and giving
them social interaction
Leadership Experience:
Pool Manager for American Pools (Summer of 2015) Performed the same duties as
a regular lifeguard as well as making sure the other guards were performing their
duties
Assistant Swim Coach for Woodland Wahoos (Summer of 2015) Coached kids aged
from 5 to 18 teaching them proper stroke technique and ensuring their safety in the
water
