Introduction(Assignment)
In our first assignment, we were tasked to follow the instructional video to set up our
working model for fluid flow in ANSYS ICEM CFX by modelling a pipe with a varying
diameter. Once our model was complete, we divided the pipe into various segments,
thus turning it into a mesh. We specified the flow by defining the inlet and outlet of
the pipe. After this, we specified the fluid which was air at 25C and we specified
values of mass flow rate at the inlet and static pressure at the outlet which were
2.5kg/s and 0 Pa respectively. This was task 1.

After this, we were also assigned to vary these boundary conditions and see the
changes in the pressure and velocity. Following are graphs and contours for both
pressure and velocity with the original boundary conditions and the new conditions
which were 5kg/s mass flow rate at the inlet and 250Pa static pressure at the outlet.
