This paper proposes a Zigbee-based location system using rescue robots to locate missing people in forests. The system uses RFID tags given to people entering the forest and GPS and Zigbee modules placed in the forest. If a person gets lost, their RFID tag is detected and the location transmitted via GPS to the nearest Zigbee module. The Zigbee module then sends this location data to a control unit, which uses the information to direct a rescue robot to the missing person's location. Power for the system is provided by solar panels.

rescue robot for missing people in forest environment. An RFID tag is given to each person who enters into the forest. GPS and Zigbee modules are placed in different locations in the forest . If microcontroller detects the persons tag then it will send the information about location of the particular person through GPS module and the RFID reader receives information i.e. forests name , longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates from the tag on the closest tree/location. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver section. The receiver consists of two sections the ROBO section and the control section. ROBO section will send the information received from the RFID reader to the control unit through Zigbee. In control unit we operate all this by using lab view. Finally, the missing person is localized. The
required power supply can be
obtained by using solar energy , this can be achieved by using a solar panel.
