Dear Eric,

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been nominated for a Jason Lang Scholarship valued at $1,000.00. This
scholarship was established in memory of Jason Lang, a 17-year old high school student who was killed in a school shooting in
Southern Alberta. The scholarship rewards outstanding academic achievement of Alberta post-secondary undergraduate students.
Funds for this scholarship were provided by the Alberta Government and it is administered by the office of Alberta Scholarship
Programs. Criteria includes Alberta residency, a minimum combined GPA of 3.20 over a minimum combined course load of 24
credit hours in the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters, full-time enrolment in Fall 2015 and a nomination from the students
institution. Students may receive a maximum lifetime limit of three Jason Lang Scholarships.

The University of Lethbridge has submitted their nominations to Alberta Scholarship Programs and it is their office that will
finalize recipients. It is estimated that the scholarship cheque should be mailed directly to you by mid-December. If you have not
received notification from Alberta Scholarship Programs by mid-January, you may contact Alberta Scholarship Programs directly
at 1-855-606-2096. In the meantime, you can access additional information about the Jason Lang Scholarship at the following
website http://studentaid.alberta.ca/scholarships/alberta-scholarships/?SK=214.

It is an honour to be nominated for this award. Congratulations on your achievement, and best wishes for your continuing
success!
