Getting Reluctant Writers Moving

This practical workshop explores eight key aspects, within your writing
programme, to ensure reluctant writers do get moving.
Some of the key points focus on:
how knowing your students, is more than identifying what they can't do, and how you can use
this information to make a difference to their learning
the impact that your expectations have on your students learning
the place of talk by your students, and how teacher talk can guide your learners into 'who they
might become'
how you can make the learning more manageable and accessible for your reluctant writers
