There are a wide range of graphic organizers that teachers can use
to help students organize their thinking so that they can stay on task
and share all their ideas and thinkings. In some cases the graphic
organizer can connect one students thoughts to another to promote
collaboration.
This tool allows students to follow along with texts. It allows
teacher to know if students are following along or pointing to what
they are asking the student to point to. It is kind of a fun tool to use
but it also allows you to keep your place while you are reading.

This website is great for differentiating reading levels but still gives
each student the opportunity to read the same article. Since they are
reading it at their own level they are able to understand it and
answer the questions that are just right for them.
This is a highlighted strip that students can use to follow along in
their reading. It helps them focus on the line that they need to read
and allows them to block out everything else on the page.
Highlighter tape is used to highlight words or a line to help students
focus on just that. They are also removable and can be used to help
mark where you leave off.
This tool is used to help students track where they are reading. By
having a colored strip that students can move from line to line they
are able to focus on the line they are reading.

Math

Each number has a corresponding number of touch points. These

touch points make it easier for children to add numbers together.
Once students are familiar with where the touch points are they are
able to add with or without the pictures available to them.
This computer math program allows students to practice math
concepts that follow the common core standards. Teachers could
assign different areas where students may need intervention help to
pre-teach a lesson or to help practice a concept to master it. Since
there are different grade levels all areas that students need should
be available to them
This game is a great way for students to work on their math lines
for addition. You get to pick a number that students will work on so
lets say you want students to know all the ways to get ten, student
need to match two balls to the target number. This helps students
practice addition problems that may be a challenge for them.
Kahn Academy is a free math site that allows you to study different
areas of math that is personalized to your own needs.
This is a great tool to use in math so that students can practice skills
over and over again. What you need to do is place the work sheet in
the folder and use a dry-erase marker to answer the problems. You
can show as much work as needed and then when you are done you
can erase and try again.
