Question
What containment system stores basil the

best over a week long period?

Abstract
My experiment will test different containment systems.

This will help society because it shows how and what

materials will be used to contain materials the best. I will
be using a cup filled with water on the counter, a cup
filled with water in the fridge, wrapped in aluminum foil
on the counter, wrapped in aluminum foil in the fridge,
wrapped in plastic wrap on the counter, wrapped in
plastic wrap in the fridge, in a Ziploc bag on the counter,
wrapped in a Ziploc bag in the fridge, in a paper bag on
the counter, in a paper bag in the fridge, in a
Tupperware container in the fridge, in a Tupperware
container on the counter, on a plate on the counter (as
control), and on a paper plate in fridge(as control).

Hypothesis
If I take different containment systems and

the put basil in them then Tupperware

containers will do the best because they keep
the most constant pressures.

Procedure
Pluck 5 basil leaves connected to a stem the

amount of different containers you want.

Put the basil stems connected to basil in their
designated container.
Observe every twelve hour period.

Conclusion
The Tupperware on the counter did the best

because it kept the humidity and any external

conflicts out. The paper bag did the worst
because it sucked the water from the basil
leaf.
