This artifact allowed me to study the organelle functions and structures. During my studies,
I struggled mainly with the distinction between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic
reticulum. I would some times mistake theses for one another. I continue to try and make more
analogies to further increase my understanding. My pathology project showed me the ins and
outs of sickle cell anemia. This and muscular dystrophy were the main disease linked to the
cytoplasm. I would like to continue researching other organelles and their respective diseases.
