Experience Client-Sponsored Project: Solaronix, 2008

Designed a planter that uses new solar energy technology to capture the moisture (via dehumidification)
and water the plants. Worked with Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the University
of Art and Design (ECAL), Lausanne, Switzerland to intergrate new solar technology into everyday
environments and objects. Other participants included the Royal College of Art (RCA), London, and École
nationale supérieure de création industrielle (ENSCI), Paris.

Interactive Research / Gallery - Ohio State University, 2006

Explored the intersection of natural and technological systems through research, art, and programming in
order to depict human struggles to evolve technological systems. Focused on intelligence and automation
inspired by our conception of the natural.

Mechanical Engineering - Ohio State University, 2004

Exploration of specific production functionality and mechanics as well as manufacturing. Focused on
precision design of parts and systems, and the integration of mathematics and physics in design.
