terview with Alphabet on their
new band member and for

know Chad a bit more.

R!: So Chad, welcome to Al-

phabet... Give us and our
readers at REWIND a bit of
information about yourself.
Chad: Hello REWIND, well I’m
Chad, obviously. Erm, I have
always loved singing and per-
forming. I’ve listened to Alpha-
bet’s music before and saw
them headlining at Leeds
Fest, so it is a honour for me
to be joining the band. I’m only
from a small town in Sheffield
and this is a big opportunity for
me. I’m so excited.

R!: Oooh! Great stuff, we’re

excited too! So Dani & Jas-
min how do you feel about
Chad joining you in Alpha-
bet?
Dani: Well, we’re both really
excited to a have a new mem-
ber, because this means we
will have new opportunities
and maybe appeal to a larger
audience with us having a
male member now.
Jasmin: Yeah, I agree with
Dani... It’s so much better for “This means we will have

Dani: It was my idea...
Jasmin: Again! Ok, then the
idea came to DANI, that we
should get a new band mem-
ber and the member would
be...
Chad: ME!
Jasmin: Correct.
Dani: And so after Chad’s per-
formance we asked him if he
would like to come for a meet-
ing, a sort of interview/audition
with us and our label, produc-
ers all them.. And he accepted
so we set up a date, Chad
came, and the produces/labels
decided it would be a great
idea to have Chad join Alpha-
bet. And that’s how it hap-
pened really.
R!: Wow. Amazing guys. So
Chad what were your first
feelings when the girls ap-
proached you at the bar in
Sheffield?
Chad: I was really shocked to
be honest. I only did the
singing/playing for a hobby
and because I enjoyed doing
it. When the girls asked me to
go for a meeting I couldn’t be-
lieve it. It was obviously too
much of a great opportunity to
miss so I accepted to go
along. I didn’t think anything
would come from it, because I
haven’t got that much confi-
dence in myself..
Jasmin & Dani: Awwwwwww..
Chad: Hmmm, anyway... I did-
n’t think I would be successful
in the meeting/audition but it
shows that I don’t know a lot.
And I was successful. I was
over the moon! It’s the best
thing that’s ever happened to
me.
R!: Ahhh, that’s great! I bet
you were so happy! So
guys... What’s in store for
Alphabet fans now?
Chad: Secret.
Jasmin: Shut up Chad! No it
isn’t. I can’t be doing with
keeping anymore secrets...
Dani: Me either! We’ve known
this one for months it’s been a
struggle to keep it a secret!
Jasmin: Erm, well we can’t say
too much, but we’ve already
recorded two new singles. And
are hoping to have an album
out in the summer.
Chad: Woooohooooo!
R!: Exciting times! Chad seems
excited. So are you guys going
to tour soon maybe?
Dani: Maybe, depends on what
comes at the time. At

the moment we are going to
focus on making the new
album and then we can see if
there is any tours we can do.
Jasmin: Yeah, if we make the
album first we might get more
fans and therefore more peo-
ple would pay to come to one
of our gigs.
Chad: I would love to tour! But
not yet, I want to first get set-
tled in to the band and make
Alphabet’s fans realise it is a
good thing for the band that I
have joined (I hope!)
Jasmin: Of course it’s a good
thing for the band that you
have joined, otherwise you
wouldn’t have joined…
Chad: Ok, but still I want peo-
ple to realise that Alphabet are
still good with me in because
some people may think it will
totally ruin songs/change the
total genre of Alphabet’s old
sounds and it won’t. There will
just be a male voice there and
maybe someone else playing
and therefore making the band
different but still good.
Dani: Yes, I agree Chad.
