recommendations that many of you have asked us for those bands that are just
starting out.

Hola a todos, hoy queremos contaros datos curiosos sobre F.A.M.D y cada uno de
sus integrantes. Nuestra historia, planes de futuro, curiosidades sobre nosotros
para que nos conozcan mejor, y algunas recomendaciones para aquellas bandas
que empiezan y acaban aquí en busca de inspiración.

Unidad 7 Sugerencias
Como decía en la introducción, quería daros algunos consejos y recomendaciones
que muchos de vosotros nos habéis pedido para esas bandas que recién están
comenzando.
Primero
Vamos a un concierto de una banda reconocida.
Deben dar identidad a su proyecto. Mediante logo, tipografía, lema y nombre.
Deberían juntarse para escribir canciones.
Podrían ver videos de bandas para inspirarse.
Podrían participar en eventos o ferias para darse a conocer.
Podrían crear un canal de YouTube.
Es una buena idea tocar en vivo varias veces antes de comenzar a grabar videos.
Deberían hacer cuñas de radio con sus primeras canciones.
Siempre deben persistir ya que el camino de la música es difícil.

Unit 8 Describing objects

Marcela
I have a long and thin stone necklace called a round Turkish eye that they say can
ward off bad energy, it is very important to me because it protects me against the
negative vibrations that other people may have towards me. I consider it an amulet
and I always carry it, my favorite object is my booties.

It is a beautiful long and thin necklace that has a round stone called a Turkish eye
for protection, blue in color.

Alejandra
He has a large ring with a red stone, made of silver and engraved with names
inside, I order that it be done with the name of his parents inside, so that he can
reach everywhere and feel their company closer, do not consider it. An amulet and
she always wears it because she feels the presence of her parents and believes
that they guide her through her music, my favorite item is the band jacket.

Daniel
He has a square gold watch with a brown leather handle and engraved with the
initials D & U, and it belonged to his brother and he liked to take good care of it,
always keeping the correct time, not a charm, but yes. It is a very valuable object
because of the meaning it has since his brother is not with them. Apart from
causing admiration on the part of the people around her, it was the reason for
conversation that allowed me to meet another member of the group, my favorite
object is my chain.

Felipe
He has an original Fender guitar, made of wood, with the neck screwed to the
body, a special characteristic of this type of instrument, it has six strings which

because it belonged to his grandfather and for years he told him that if he learned
to touch it one day it would be his, my favorite item is my watch.

Marcela
Tengo un collar de piedra redondo largo y delgado llamado ojo turco que dicen
que puede alejar las malas energías, es muy importante para mí porque me
protege contra las vibraciones negativas que otras personas puedan tener hacia
mí. Lo considero un amuleto y siempre lo llevo, mi objeto favorito son mis botines.
Detalles:
Es un hermoso collar largo y delgado que tiene una piedra redonda llamada ojo
turco para protección, de color azul.
Alejandra
Tiene un Anillo grande con una piedra roja, realizado en plata y grabado con
nombres internamente, ordeno que se haga con el nombre de sus padres adentro,
para que pueda llevarlos a todas partes y sentir su compañía más cerca, no lo
considera. Un amuleto y siempre lo usa porque siente la presencia de sus padres
y cree que ellos la guían a través de su música, mi objeto favorito es la chaqueta
de la banda.

Es un gran anillo, muy grande, con una piedra roja y hecho de plata.
Daniel
Tiene un reloj cuadrado de oro con asa de cuero marrón y grabado con las
iniciales D & U, y era de su hermano y le gustaba cuidarlo muy bien, marcando
siempre la hora correcta, no es un amuleto, pero sí. Es un objeto muy valioso por
el significado que tiene ya que su hermano no está con ellos. Aparte de causar
admiración por parte de la gente que la rodeaba, fue el motivo de conversación
que me permitió conocer a otro integrante del grupo, mi objeto favorito es mi
cadena.
Detalle: reloj de cuerpo cuadrado, agujas finas, color dorado, líneas muy finas
para marcar las horas, asa de piel auténtica con pespuntes cosidos a mano.
Felipe
Tiene una guitarra Fender original, construida en madera, con el mástil atornillado
al cuerpo, característica especial de este tipo de instrumentos, tiene seis cuerdas
lo que permite un gran sonido rock. No es un amuleto, pero es muy importante
para él porque perteneció a su abuelo y durante años le dijo que si aprendía a
tocarlo algún día sería suyo, mi objeto favorito es mi reloj.
DESCRIPCIÓN: es pintura negra brillante, fuerte, de cuello largo, impecable.

Unit 9 Past events

Felipe, Marcela, Alejandra, and I have been friends since childhood, we grew up
and found we are good at music and we like to make music. After finishing high
school FELIPE went to college, MARCELA went to travel the world, ALEJANDRA
stayed in her hometown and kept the family business and I moved to NYC and
started a business, as time passed we distanced ourselves.
In 2014 we met again so we went to a bar and talked about the past making us
nostalgic remembering our dream about making a band and doing shows, in the
climax of the conversation we get to the conclusion that we should give it a shot to
that dream. In 2015 Marcela began to make our first lyrics and melodies in her
garage, FELIPE was playing the violin, ALEJANDRA was playing the guitar,
MARCELA the piano, and I the drums. In 2016 we uploaded our first song to
YouTube that only got a thousand views and a bunch of dislikes. Although this may
discourage others, we find the strength to keep trying. So in 2018, we uploaded a
song that blew everyone's minds and it was our first famous song. At first, we had
a rough start but with effort and commitment, now we have a large number of fans
that are waiting for us to make another song.
However, as in everything in life, there are moments of happiness and others of
sadness, and at this moment I am going to tell you one of the saddest things that
have happened to us as a band. Well, in 2017 we were working very hard to
upload our success song in 2018. But all our plans were interrupted when DANI
caught a terrible disease that made her unable to move any part of her body. He at
that time was like a vegetable and the three of us were too worried about her. But
then a month passed and with therapies, DANI was able to move her hands little
by little her body returned to normal. At that time, we thought our band was going
to end.

Unidad 9 Eventos Pasados

Felipe, Marcela, Alejandra y yo hemos sido amigos desde la infancia, crecimos y
descubrimos que somos buenos en la música y nos gusta hacer música. Después
de terminar la secundaria Felipe fue a la universidad, Marcela se fue a viajar por el
mundo, Alejandra se quedó en su ciudad natal y mantuvo el negocio familiar y yo
me mudé a NYC y comencé un negocio, con el paso del tiempo nos distanciamos.
En 2014 nos volvimos a encontrar, así que fuimos a un bar y hablamos sobre el
pasado haciéndonos nostálgicos al recordar nuestro sueño de hacer una banda y
hacer shows, en el clímax de la conversación llegamos a la conclusión de que
deberíamos darle una oportunidad a ese Sueño. En 2015 Felipe empezó a hacer
nuestras primeras letras y melodías en su garaje, Felipe tocaba el violín, Alejandra
tocaba la guitarra, Marcela el piano y yo la batería. En 2016 subimos nuestra
primera canción a YouTube que solo obtuvo mil visitas y un montón de no me
gusta. Aunque esto pueda desanimar a otros, encontramos la fuerza para seguir
intentándolo. Entonces, en 2018, subimos una canción que sorprendió a todos y
fue nuestra primera canción famosa. Al principio tuvimos un comienzo duro pero
con esfuerzo y compromiso, ahora tenemos una gran cantidad de fans que nos
esperan para hacer otra canción.
Sin embargo, como en todo en la vida, hay momentos de alegría y otros de
tristeza, y en este momento les voy a contar una de las cosas más tristes que nos
han pasado como banda. Bueno, en 2017 estuvimos trabajando muy duro para
subir nuestra canción de éxito en 2018. Pero todos nuestros planes se vieron
interrumpidos cuando DANIEL contrajo una terrible enfermedad que la hizo
incapaz de mover ninguna parte de su cuerpo. El en ese momento era como un
vegetal y los tres estábamos demasiado preocupados por ella. Pero luego pasó un
mes y con las terapias, DANIEL fue capaz de mover sus manos poco a poco su
cuerpo volvió a la normalidad. En ese momento, pensamos que nuestra banda iba
a terminar.

Unit 10 Phone conversations

Our band has been out sanding during the last years, the affection of the people is
noticeable and the fans are much happier with us. Every song we write makes us
unique which sets us apart from other bands. because our letters generate a more
friendly impact on people's lives,. Our band is the best because people follow us
everywhere, we are heard every day on the radio and our music is becoming more
and more known. Our music from the beginning has varied over the years, we
started out writing heavy music that people wanted to listen to, and then we
evolved to lyrics that had to do with the deepest feelings of the people.
The band has proven over the years that it is the friendliest band in the genre, it
has also differentiated itself by being a more humble band and being listened to by
all kinds of people, because of the kind of unique and joyful personality that sets us
apart, which has made us believe in ourselves every day with the support of the
fans.

Unidad 10 Conversaciones telefónicas

Nuestra banda se ha ido lijando durante los últimos años, el cariño de la gente se
nota y los fans están mucho más contentos con nosotros. Cada canción que
escribimos nos hace únicos lo que nos diferencia de otras bandas. porque
nuestras letras generan un impacto más amigable en la vida de las personas,.
Nuestra banda es la mejor porque la gente nos sigue a todas partes, nos
escuchan todos los días en la radio y nuestra música es cada vez más conocida.
Nuestra música desde el principio ha variado a lo largo de los años, empezamos
escribiendo música heavy que la gente quería escuchar, y luego evolucionamos
hacia letras que tenían que ver con los sentimientos más profundos de la gente.
La banda ha demostrado a lo largo de los años que es la banda más amigable del
género, también se ha diferenciado por ser una banda más humilde y ser
escuchada por todo tipo de personas, por el tipo de personalidad única y alegre
que nos distingue, lo que nos ha hecho creer en nosotros mismos cada día con el
apoyo de los fans.

Unit 11Describing physical appearance

Felipe is tall, with light eyes, straight hair, he is thin, he always dresses in dark
colors, his personality is very funny, he is the most ingenious of the band, he
always has great ideas.
Alejandra is short, she has long, wavy, black hair, her eyes are large, honey-
colored, her skin color is white, and she has freckles on her nose and cheeks. her
personality is risky, she is always inventing things for the band.
Marcela is of medium height, with brown eyes, she has many moles on her face,
her nose is very pointed, almost perfect, her skin color is dark, she has curly, short,
red hair. Her hobby is dancing, we see her dancing all the time, her energy is too
good.
Daniel is fat, his hair is light brown, his eyes are honey-colored, and his eyebrows
are bushy, which makes him have a very expressive look, Daniel has a beautiful
smile, he is the most flirtatious of the band, he always steals the hearts of the fans.
Unidad 11 Describiendo la apariencia física
Felipe es alto, de ojos claros, pelo lacio, es delgado, siempre viste de colores
oscuros, su personalidad es muy divertida, es el más ingenioso de la banda,
siempre tiene grandes ideas.
Alejandra es bajita, tiene el pelo largo, ondulado, negro, sus ojos son grandes,
color miel, su color de piel es blanco y tiene pecas en la nariz y las mejillas. su
personalidad es arriesgada, siempre está inventando cosas para la banda.
Marcela es de mediana estatura, con ojos marrones, tiene muchos lunares en la
cara, su nariz es muy puntiaguda, casi perfecta, su color de piel es oscuro, tiene el
pelo rizado, corto, pelirrojo. Su pasatiempo es bailar, la vemos bailar todo el
tiempo, su energía es demasiado buena.
Daniel es gordo, su cabello es castaño claro, sus ojos son color miel y sus cejas
son pobladas, lo que le hace tener una mirada muy expresiva, Daniel tiene una
hermosa sonrisa, es el más coqueto de la banda, siempre roba. los corazones de
los aficionados.

Unity 12 Looking ahead

For the next year, our band plans to do a regional tour, where we could make
ourselves known to more audiences. For that year in support of our manager we
have a fairly tight itinerary, our tour will start on February 1, there we plan to move
to the north of the country, where we will give several concerts, so we will be there
for approximately three weeks. Then we will go to the central zone of the region to
attend a festival, in which we will play as guest artists, in collaboration with other
international bands, so we are doing a great mix of new songs, and there we will
release our latest album, the which we have been preparing for several months.
After the festival, we will return home, where we will take a short rest and prepare
to continue with our tour, we will be at home for about ten or fifteen days, then we
will travel to a very large city, where a young audience awaits us, with the which we
plan to make the official video of our latest release.
Unidad 12 Mirando hacia el futuro
Para el próximo año, nuestra banda planea hacer una gira regional, donde
podríamos darnos a conocer a más audiencias. Para ese año en apoyo a nuestro
manager tenemos un itinerario bastante ajustado, nuestra gira iniciará el 1 de
febrero, allí planeamos trasladarnos al norte del país, donde daremos varios
conciertos, por lo que estaremos allí aproximadamente tres semanas. Luego nos
iremos a la zona central de la región para asistir a un festival, en el que tocaremos
como artistas invitados, en colaboración con otras bandas internacionales, por lo
que estamos haciendo una gran mezcla de canciones nuevas, y allí lanzaremos
nuestro último disco, que llevamos preparando varios meses.
Terminado el festival, regresaremos a casa, donde tomaremos un pequeño
descanso y nos prepararemos para continuar con nuestra gira, estaremos en casa
unos diez o quince días, luego viajaremos a una ciudad muy grande, donde un
público joven nos espera, con el que tenemos previsto realizar el vídeo oficial de
nuestro último lanzamiento.
