Auto ethnography of Kyle Gering

Two hour typing Two hours of non-typing:

1-5 Bad jokes on how hard the assignment will be, getting water, asking mom whats for
dinner, spinning in chair.[Won]
6-10 Ask mom when is dinner going to be ready, jokes about my typing speed, turn on
YouTube on my phone, going to get my phone charger.[FAM,BR-,Ph-]
11-15 Start paper reread the question far too many times.[RD]
16-20 Ask mom why is college so hard, get same answer, get upset about typing speed,
get lectured on taking typing classes again.[FAM]
21-25 How do I start the second paragraph, reread first paragraph twice, ask mom for
advice.[Q]
26-30 Ask step-dad for advice, get lecture on concentrating, watch you tube video.[Q,Ph]
31-35 Continue watching you tube video.[Ph-]
36-40 Lecture on no phones while typing, getting headphones.[Ph-,FAM]
41-45 Turn on music, asking on how to finish second paragraph, lecture on spelling,
telling mom I dont need a dictionary.[FAM]
46-50 Finished second paragraph, asking myself how to make the teacher laugh, think
about high school papers, got third paragraph started, joke about how annoying the paper is.

51-55 Remember the goosebumps books I read, spin in chair, go get more water, save
document for just in case purposes.[Won]
Eating Dinner
56-60 Freak out and check paragraphs to make sure they have at least four sentences,
ignore second paragraph because it looks long, ask mom is it ok for three sentences for a
paragraph.[RE,Q]
61-65 Put on you tube as soon as mom left to bed, finished third paragraph complained
on how many more questions I had to answer, reread the questions, put on a different YouTube
video.[Ph-,RD]
66-70 Finished fourth paragraph complimenting myself on how easy that one was.[C]
71-75 Tried countless ways to start fifth paragraph, dogs started barking.[PET]

Outside petting dogs

76-80 Mom walks back asking why I didnt write a rough draft.[FAM]
81-85 Remember the questions fail, reread questions, spin in chair, get more water, get
mad at myself for no finishing yet.[RD,Won]
86-90 Think of a cheesy conclusion, talk about how long and annoying that paper was.
[Won,C]
90-95 Save paper, sent it, remembered to turn off recording.
