Dear Mr. or Mrs.

Employer,
I am addressing you in hopes of having the honor to work for this company in the position of a
Mechanical Engineer 1. Over the past several years, I have been studying many different
design programs and the knowledge needed on the programming software you use. I believe
could be an asset for your company.
Other ways I believe I could further assist your company is I enjoy and need to stay busy and
working on a project. Once I am done with a project I look for another ways to help out or
seek for a new project. I also prefer to do the project the way it is intended, so once it is
explained to me I can perform the task as it is requested. I am hardworking, honest, loyal, and
work well with others and also work well alone.
I know that I understand the various type of auto cad design programs you use and I feel I
can implement them well. That way you can have the product ready in time to test and
distribute. I also have some knowledge of the programming language used by the machines
you produce. In that way I would be able to effectively communicate to the programmers on
how to best design the machine, so it is effective on both ends of the design spectrum.
I look forward to hearing from your company on the engineering position you have available.
You can reach me at brennandbeecher@gmail.com or by my phone xxx-xxx-xxxx
Thank you for your time,
Brennan Beecher

Dressing for success - This is a document I created for my work in which the document entails a
technical description of how to dress for success in interviews. I created this trifold for my employer
give a tri-fold out to students and faculty to make aware of our services and show what is employers
are looking for when interviewing. The people this document is here to help is those looking for a job.
Dating Accident This is a document created for the use of students who decided to cook for
their dates or cooks in general and possibly cuts their hand with a knife. It is a first aid protocol on what
to do depending on the severity of the cut. It gives advice on how to stop bleeding, bandages, and other
advice if bleeding does not stop. It is made to allow those who cut their hands to be able to provide first
aid to himself, herself, or those they are cooking with.
Project Part 1 This was a project I had written for my English 2100 Technical Writing class in
which I was asked to write about a possible company I would like to work at. In the assignment I was
asked to look for and describe the organizational culture, values, goals and other topics about the
company. This is about the environment which Google offers to its employees. It is made to explain
some of the different things people looking to work for Google should know about Google, before
trying to work there.

Double Dating Cooking Disaster

So you and your roommate have decided to have to both
of your girlfriends over for a lovely evening to show off your
impressive cooking skills, which you have yet to master. While youre preparing your friend on
accident cuts his hand with a sharp knife while trying to figure out how to cut an onion
properly.
What you will need to do:
1. Figure out how bad of a cut it is, if it is deep
then its best if you cancel your date or post
pone it and seek medical aid.
2. If the cut isn't deep and is just a small cut, you
will then take your friend over to a sink and
have them wash their hands thoroughly with
soap and water.
3. Once you have seen they have washed their hands you will give them a paper towel or
something in which they can apply pressure to the cut hand.
4. They should at least wait a good five to ten minutes before removing pressure from the
area.
5. Once the bleeding had stopped apply some Neosporin or another antibacterial
ointment and place a bandage on the wound.
6. And obviously once youre done, don't show off your battle scar to your dates and tell a
fake story to cover up you or your friend are not good at cooking.
7. However, if after some time the bleeding does not stop, go seek medical aid.
8. Once you have the situation taken care of, continue cooking and have the person who
cut their hand not cut any more objects for the rest of the duration of the cooking
process.

Once everything has been prepared and set up, and everyone has arrived; make sure to have

a good time at your date.

Also make sure they don't end

up pitying you or your friend for being senseless with a knife, after all you were trying to
impress someone.

Project 1 Draft

Working at Google
Recently I have been doing research on a company I might want to pursue
employment with in the future. While there are many great companies to work for in this day
and age; there are some in the field of technology I would want to be employed by and that is
Google. This Memorandum will help those also possibly seeking employment with Google
understand their goals, values, history, and culture.
There are many aspect to look for in a company when choosing the company you want
to help grow and succeed in there goals. The way Google determines their goals is looking for
ways to improve the way we live and make them matter, and also cool at the same time. The
first goal Google had was to make the perfect search engine and now they are trying to
expand their horizons to doing different goals such as providing faster internet, creating a
computer on your glasses, and many other useful items that will help shape our society.
Google has always want a place to bring together smart and talented people. For them
to solve some of life toughest challenges of our day. It is a place where you can teach and
also learn from fellow employees also known as Googlers. They strive to make a place
where you can truly be yourself at work rather than putting on a persona. They attract many
people by the many perks they provide IE: Free food, Unlimited vacation time, free snacks,
Great heath plans, Traveling insurance, Reimbursement for classes or college degree
programs, and one of the best is giving the employees have more time with their new child.
Google wants everyone their to feel as family more than mere coworkers.
Depending on your position at Google you may just stay in the Google campus you are
at or you might travel around the world visiting other Google campus and taking a look at the
many thing Google does for our world. They make sure your experience is one of the best
times. Also if you don't live near a Google campus they can have you telecommute to work;
and occasionally have you come in to the campus closest to you with your kind of department
at the campus.
The way Google chosen to hire people is a bit different from the normal way of hiring.
They have chosen to hire those who are a little different than the normal group of people
making those who are hired a great asset to Google. They focus more on you than your
grades or transcripts. They are looking for leaders, those who think outside the box, those
who have a variety of skills and passions, and those who are comfortable being themselves

around their coworkers. They also involve many of the other employees in the hiring process,
so those who may be interviewing you might be future teammates or from another team.
Overall, Google is a great place to work. I have personally met and talked with many
about working from Google and they absolutely love it there. They talk about several of the
many inside jokes Googlers have. They would recommend it to anyone who can get hired by
them to try it out. They try to help you in any way they can as you strive to be better and help
them better the world as we know it. From the perks to the fellow Googlers you would come to
call family Google is a fine company to work for.
