Reading
Readers know that when they compare things
they identify how they are alike and when they
contrast things they tell how they are different.
Readers know that they can compare and contrast
two texts on the same topic. They look for things
the authors say about the topic that are the same
and things the authors say about the topic that
are different.
Word Work:
Readers and writers know that words that have
the same letter patterns can be connected. They
are called word families. When we learn these
patterns we can apply the patterns to other
words. The long e vowel teams of ea, y, and ee
are part of several word families.

money. After break we will start working on addition with regrouping.
