Personality Project Analysis

For our survey, we had 20 questions. We based our personality test on mental stability
versus instability. My partner and I used the Eysenck Personality Table as the main source on
how we formed and essentially created our test survey. West specifically derived our questions
based off the four subgroups found in the table. These subgroups also were divided into stability
versus instability. The subgroups are Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic and Phlegmatic.
Phlegmatic and Sanguine are considered stable on the table and Choleric and Melancholic are
considered unstable. We divided the questions equally among the four groups and we used the
highest picked answer to help with our data analysis on stability versus instability. After the 70
responses, we analyzed the data and calculated that according to our survey and the table we
used, 65% of the people that took this survey are considered stable and the other 35% are
unstable. We figured out these percentages by marking down the highest picked answer on each
question while also having down the specific group the question was derived from. So depending
on both the question and answer we would tally it under stable or unstable.
