Dear Parents and Guardians,

As you may be aware, Mr. Chiesa and I (students at The College of New Jersey)
have been working with Mrs. Pileggi teaching a two-week science unit in your childs
class. Your children have been working hard as scientists and have shown a lot of
curiosity and learned a lot about solids and liquids. As part of their learning experience,
we would like students to continue their exploration at home by completing the attached
worksheets by Wednesday, November 18th. They should, with your assistance, search
for solids and liquids at home as they fill out this worksheet. We encourage you to email
me pictures of their findings at giancak1@tcnj.edu , however, it is not required. If you
are unable to send in pictures, your child is welcome to draw what they find. The students
will have an opportunity to share their findings with the class and present any drawings
or photos they have.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Katie Giancaspro
