Dear mother,
How is everything? What has Father been up to lately besides working the fields and loathing? I
cant speak much since the apple rarely falls far from the tree. Wait, yes it can. My life here has
changes drastically in the span of 2 years. I have gone from soon to be bitter, to the happiest man
on earth. Im telling you, the people here treat all as family. I dont want to spoil anything but
lately Caili has been feeling different, hopefully this season is the one in which the gods bless us
with a child. I currently work as a server for the Kashi family two houses down. Out of all the
abundances of the world, profit seems to be their biggest one. Mr. Kashi has his own grape
plantation near the coast of Tarchna and his son is the head of the wine trade department near
Felathri. Thanks to the help of Mr Kashi, I have saved up enough currency to have you two
migrated up here before the arrival of next winter, but hopefully sooner. Im sorry to make this
letter much shorter than the last but I messaged you this time for a specific reason.
I am contacting you in regards of the marriage ceremony that I had mentioned to you a few
letters back. As fortunate as it is that I have found the love of my life, its celebration must be
halted due to the unfortunate death of Cailis father. I had hoped that youd get the chance to
meet him, he was such a grand and positive man full of good virtues and wealth, but life takes

its course and there is no need to lament over it. By the time that youd get this message, Cailis
father will be far in the afterlife in the hands of Tinia, bless him. We will be putting is ashes in a
custom made terracotta urn.(Strange World of Etruscan Art) Im thinking of decorating the
urn with depictions of him fishing and dancing, the two being his favorite activities. I bought him
fishing pole that I found on a market from down the road. Its a long brown colored pole with
some Roman Encryptions which are blessing the current holder. The thing almost cost me an arm
and a leg, literally. I got the rod from a hot headed Roman trader that was refusing to sell it to me
without proper identification. I have a feeling that he knew that I was Etruscan. But who can
blame him, with so much richness that this land offers, I too would envy myself. Anyways, we
are almost done with his burial room, and if Tinia allows it, it should be done in about a week.
The tumulus(Tombs) will be separated into 3 rooms. One for Cailis father and you two, one
for Caili and myself, and hopefully the last being occupied by our children. Caili wants our room
to be welcomed by the hand of Charun(The Realm of the Dead) lead to the center of the
room in which we will lie, protected by Cerberus from behind himself. Since she took charge in
the rooms layout, I will take charge of the dcor of the room. I want the room covered in a
sunset red, with blue floors, reflecting on Cailis neurotic temperament with my passive
neutrality. I think it would be a nice balance.
I dont want to bore you by talking about my future grave, so I must say my goodbyes. I
mentioned this before but I want to engrave this idea into fathers head. Make sure that he is
willing to migrate up here well before next summer starts. I think that you two will love the
charitable lifestyle that this place offers. May Tinia bless your hearts and may the light of a new
day reach upon your souls.
Love, your son, Iculus.
