Practice within the Business Application Services division. This is a strategic unit created to cater to latest
ERP market trend. Division is tasked with ensuring that we offer the right technology solutions to our
clients by leveraging our strong and proven industry expertise.
We are recruiting highly motivated and accomplished individuals from top tier universities for human
resource management specialization. Candidates should be able to clearly demonstrate an interest in
pursuing a career in HCM (Human Capital Management) consulting and develop innovative solutions in
the area of modern HCM. Additionally, candidates must thrive in a dynamic and rapidly growing
environment and IT. Those hired will join a successful team with a broad and deep range of experience
across business and technology solution areas
Roles and Responsibilities:
Consultants will be trained on HCM modules of Oracle Package Applications like E-Business suite ERP,
Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft and Taleo based on business plan. The training will include exhaustive
hands on project Case Study based work which will equip you to deal with real life project situations.
You will be expected to develop sound techno functional knowledge & hands on skills of the product to
be able to become part of IT solution implementation team of Wipro.
Key Roles:
Junior Functional Consultant HCM
o You will begin as junior consultant and work with project delivery teams to develop
deep understanding of IT solution implementation process.
o Analyze , explore different solution options and recommend the preferred option
o Make presentations to customer and internal stakeholders on the solution
o Create detailed functional specifications as input for our systems analysis and design
teams
Senior Functional Consultant - HCM
o Understanding of customer problems and providing them with right fit modern HR
solutions which are future proof. During the project lifecycle, role would involve
Requirements Gathering and Analysis (interfacing with Customer HR Leaders) to
understand their business specificities and then ensuring all the requirements are
translated into a working solution which meets and exceeds customer objectives of
Business Value Realization.
o Implement a structured approach for capturing business requirements and translating
them into System or Process Solutions
Interact with customer and articulate Industry Trends and possible process
improvements
o Educate development teams on an applications business/functional background, and
provide clarity on the application
o Validate that the IT solution meets identified needs
o Constantly look at ways and means to bring more discipline and rigour to the Business
Analysis function by adopting more structured methodologies and tools.
o Work with the Domain Consultants/Practice Heads to develop solutions/frameworks for
addressing industry pain-points and move towards developing trends.
o Participate in various Industry forums and present Thought Leadership via innovations
o Drive demystification, point of view on topical subjects through contribution and
authoring of thought/white papers.
o Undertake research and enable dissemination of knowledge with other cross functional
teams
Presales consultant role
o Consultants will be involved through the duration of a project even during Sales cycle.
o As a part of engagements and Wipro ambassadors, role expectations are to do consulting
led Sales which should translate into increased Revenue stream for Wipro.
o Provide domain support for large and complex RFIs and RFPs by providing domain
point of view, solutioning, help in estimation etc.
