to catch Duke Boys

After nearly 35 years, local law enforcement has pledged to bring Bo and Luke Duke to justice once and
for all.
Quite frankly, the residents of Union County are fed up with the numerous instances of a Dodge Charger
flying over their hay sheds with the annoying sound of a prolonged horn bugle, states Cody Bowen, the
Union County Sheriff Deputy tasked with shutting down the Duke Boys moonshine enterprise for good.
Not only that, Bowen continues, Big game hunters are becoming increasingly frustrated with startling
explosions while sitting in their tree stands set off by the Duke Boys explosive equipped arrow tips.

According to Deputy Bowen, the task force will consist of himself and his highly trained tactical K9, Flash.
The newly created task force has struck its first psychological blow to the Duke Boys by issuing a court
order preventing KCMB 93.7 La Grande to play the 1980 Waylon Jennings hit song, The Good-Ol Boys.
Additionally, Deputy Bowens task force acquired the latest technology capable of jamming or
eavesdropping on EM frequencies used by the cb radios installed in Uncle Jesse Dukes sixth generation
Ford F100 pickup truck, Daisy Dukes Jeep CJ-5, and the 1969 Dodge Charger operated by the Duke
brothers.
Local residents are relieved that Deputy Bowen has stepped up the fight against the Dukes. Who are
these two guys anyhowJason Bourne and John Rambo, asked longtime Elgin resident Joseph Blue
Palasky. I mean, theyve mastered, with precision I might add, the art of shooting explosive arrows from
a moving car, but they cant figure out how to use their door handles. Its intriguing.
Bowen has also pledged to shut down the Boars Nest and Cooters Garage in effort to prevent any local
sympathizers from offering assistance to the Duke family. It has come time to take the entire Duke
family off the streets in an effort to make the community safer for the law abiding residents of Union
County, Deputy Bowen quipped. That includes arresting Daisy if she doesnt want to clean up her act.
