Survival
It was morning and Sargent Jackson and Jack were using the axes
to cut the heads of the walkers that attacked the group. And John
was talking to his parents.
John Clarkson: are you guys sure your ok?
Linda and Jeffery were not talking and then he asked again.
John Clarkson: mom dad are you ok?
Then they both looked up at him and his dad said.
Jeffery Clarkson: were both fine son just let me and your mom talk
and well get you if there is anything wrong with us ok.
John looked down at the ground and then at them and he said.
John Clarkson: ok.
He said as he grabbed his hat as he got up and started to walk to
where I was talking to Pat, General Herman, Uncle Jimmy,
Anthony, Robert, Sargent Jackson, and Tony, and Kevin. And Linda
said.
Linda Clarkson: youre not going to tell him?
She said as he pulled his arm away from her and he said.
Jeffery Clarkson: he doesnt need this on his plate he has enough
trouble as it is.
Linda Clarkson: then tell James then.

He looked at her like she was crazy then he shook his head no
and he said.
Jeffery Clarkson: if he finds out that one of those un dead things
scratched me then he will put a bullet between my eyes right in
front of you and everyone else as well.
Linda Clarkson: he wouldnt John or Steve would stop him.
Then he looked at the ground and shook his head no and said.
Jeffery Clarkson: no Steve has gone crazy he did lock us up in that
god for saken barn.
Linda Clarkson: youre right.
She said as she shook her head in agreement and then he pulled
out Johns pistol and Lindas eyes widened and he said.
Jeffery Clarkson: hear.
He said as he handed her the gun and she took it and she asked
him.
Linda Clarkson: whats this for?
Jeffery Clarkson: its for you to shoot me with for when I turn.
She said.
Linda Clarkson: I wont do it Ive been married to you for 60 years
I wont do it.
Jeffery took her hands and said.
Jeffery Clarkson: youre the only one I can trust to do it so you
have to.
A he said that she took the gun and she said.

Linda Clarkson: ok Ill do it.

Then he hugged her and said.
Jeffery Clarkson: thank you honey.
We were still talking in the group and we were talking about
getting the others at the field back and I said.
James: ok since the farm is safe now we can contact mark through
Vincents dads C.B. in his cop car.
Pat: yeah we can do that.
Then General Herman said.
General Herman: come on Pat lets go ask him if we can use it.
As they walked off it was me, John, Anthony, Robert, Sargent
Jackson, Tony, and Kevin and I said.
James: ok this place isnt safe we need to leave hear before more
walkers come here.
They all looked at me and then Sargent Jackson said.
Sargent Jackson: what do you mean leave we just got here and
took the farm back over and your thinking about leaving.
James: I know for a fact that other walkers heard the gun shots
and the screaming so I know that theyre going to be a whole lot
more of them on their way here right now.
Then John asked.
John Clarkson: then where would we go if we leave here.
Then Tony said.

Tony Gabba: before we left the news said that the C.D.C. might
still be standing but I think if we go it would be on a hunch if it is
actual open.
James: yeah we can go to the C.D.C. and maybe get some
answers out of this and see if they know anything about any
military or government survivors. And find out how the virus
started. By the way where is the closest C.D.C. located?
Anthony: the nearest one is in Wisconsin its right outside
Michigans border.
James: ok good a little later we will get everyone together and
talk about leaving this place and get some answers.
I looked at the bodies all over the camp and then said.
James: ok go and help Jack and Larry now with disposing of the
bodies.
Anthony, Robert, Sargent Jackson, Tony, and Kevin all walked
away from me and John and John said.
John Clarkson: we still have an issue here.
He said as I started to walk away and I put my hat on and said as I
kept walking.
James: oh yeah and what would the issue be now?
John Clarkson: we still have to deal with Steve and Dr. Sargent.
I stopped and turned around and said.
James: what do you think Im doing now then?

I said as I held up the key to the lock that was on the barn and we
both walked to it and I opened it and Steve and Dr. Sargent stood
up and Dr. Sargent asked.
Dr. Sargent: now what do you want?
James: all we want to do is talk.
I said as John closed the door and we both stepped farther into
the barn and Steve said.
Steve: talk about what.
Then John turned around and said.
John Clarkson: oh you already know what Steve.
He said as he walked up and stood next to me and then Dr.
Sargent said.
Dr. Sargent: we aint got nothing to talk about.
I grabbed a folding chair and handed it to John and he unfolded it
and sat down and I did the same and said.
James: yeah I think that you do. And since I youre not going to
start talking I will first. First off Dr. Sargent when did you have in
the right mind that influenced you to try and kill and take over
this group when you know its mine.
And John said to Steve.
John Clarkson: and Steve Lisa and Danny arent yours they never
will be your family your just goanna have to live with that fact.
Steve looked down at the ground and then I said to Dr. Sargent.

James: now that I said that I want you to think Im not mad with
you I just want the old Dr. Sargent back.
Dr. Sargent looked up at me and he said.
Dr. Sargent: well that doctor is dead now and Im alive.
James: I know that the end of the world changes men and women
but I know that if you tried that the old Dr. Sargent might come
back from the dead and be a new in the world.
Dr. Sargent looked at the ground and then said.
Dr. Sargent: I cant try.
James: thats all Im asking.
I said as I stood up and held out his glock 11 and he looked at it
and smiled and took it. And after that we hugged and I said.
James: you see that wasnt so bad was it.
Then John said to Steve.
John Clarkson: if Dr. Sargent can do it then you can to. I want the
old you the one I met back in middle school.
Steve looked up and held out his hand and John pulled him in and
they hugged and John handed Steve his Glock 12 and he said.
John Clarkson: welcome back brother.
The 4 of us walked out of the camp and Brent, Collin, Jared,
Andrew and Adam all stood up and got there shot guns loaded
and Brent said.
Brent: James look out those 2 sons of a bitches are right behind
you.

James: guys you can relax me and John talked with them and they
are going to put their past behind them and become one of the
group again.
They all lowered their weapons and they all started to walk away
and Jared said.

Jared Jeffries: we still dont trust the bastards.

He said as they all made their way to the house and as Jack and
Sargent were cutting the bodies of the fallen walkers and they got
to one of the people that used to be in the group and they cut the
head and they were dragging it to the pile of bodies that were
going to get burned and Larry said.
Larry: no those are our people we dont burn them.
They both stopped and Jack said.
Jack: then what do you want us to do with the body then?
Larry: we barry them.
Jack and Sargent dropped their axes and then Jack said.
Jack: oh sure we listen to the Asian and make a separate pile of
already dead and infected people.
Then Sargent Jackson said.
Sargent Jackson: calm down there our people not a random
walker.
He said as they dropped the body on the other bodies and the
coutinued and Sargent Jackson said.

Sargent Jackson: this should be the last one.

He said as they picked up the walker and made their way to the
fire pit where the others were. And they through it in and they
joined me and the others by the other side of the fire pit and I
said as they came up to me.
James: we have to do something about Jessica.
I said as we looked at Kailie still on top of Jessicas dead body and
Jack said.
Jack: I can hit her with the arrow dead on from here and get her.
Then Anthony said.
Anthony: are you sure you want to do that with Kailie sitting right
on top of her life less body like that.
Jack: Ive done it to other people before I was in this group and
even before Johns group.
James: let me ask Joe if he can get her off so we can dispose of
the body.
Oh and did you guys clear the camp?
Sargent Jackson: yeah me and Jack got them all in the fire and
Larry barried our people in graves by the cars.
James: good.
I said as I started to walk away and I said.
James: we are going to have a group meeting at sun set tonight
and talk about going to the C.D.C.
I said as I made my way to the Winnebago to talk to Joe and he
was sitting on top of the R.V. and I said.

James: hey Joe I need to ask you a favor.

Joe stood up and looked down at me and said.
Joe: and what would that favor be.
James: you see Kailie right there.
I said as I pointed by the pick neck tables and Joe said.
Joe: yeah I see her what about her?
James: I need you to convince her to get off of the body so we can
barry it like the others.
Joe looked at me and then Kailie and started to make his way to
the latter and start climbing down it and he said.
Joe: I will have a talk with her she reminds me of my daughter.
He said as he got to the ground and made his way over to Kailie
and she looked up at him and he held up his hands and said.
Joe: Im just here to repay my respects.
He said as he took of his hat and got on his feet and he put his
hand on her back and he said.
Joe: you know that with the time I knew Jessica that she was a
good person at heart and I know that you loved her as a friend
and she meant a lot to you but I need you hear and now.
Kailie looked at him and she said.
Kailie Kennedy: you should have seen the look on her face when
she died.
Joe looked at her and he said.

Joe: I understand my wife was bitten and I watched her die and
trust me when she turns she wont be the same.
Kailie looked at her body and said.
Kailie Kennedy: I will deal with it when she turns.
Then Joe stood up and he grabbed his sniper and he said.
Joe: well Ill be on the R.V. as usual so if you need me Ill be there.
I was waiting by the R.V. with Jack, Sargent Jackson, Anthony,
Tony, Kevin, and Robert and I asked as Joe came up to the R.V.
James: so did you get her to get off?
We all looked at him and he said.
Joe: I tried and she said that she will handle it when she turns.
He said as he got to the latter of the R.V. and climbed up to the
roof.
As he said that Josh and Mike came out of the house and made
their way to where we were and Jack said. As he walked away.
Jack: you people had this coming being this close to the city.
He said as he grabbed his ax and walked away. As Josh and Mike
came up to us I asked them.
James: so you enjoy the ride back?
Josh Coe: yeah it was fine.
Then I said.
James: wheres Pat?

Mike: he and General Herman are sorting the food boxes from the
water boxes in his truck.
James: ok good tell him to leave the boxes in the truck because
we wont be staying here for long.
I said as I walked away and made my way to the house and went
in through the back door of the house and walked up the stairs
where John and Steve were sitting with the C.B. and John said.
John Clarkson: your dad really wants to talk with you.
He said as he stood up and I stopped in the hall way and said.
James: ok give me the radio and Ill talk with him.
I said as I made my way into the living room and I sat down and
started to talk and Steve and John left and went and waited in the
kitchen.
I talked into the C.B. and said.
James: hey dad we are all fine the family is ok and only 2 died and
they werent in the family.
In Jacky and Larrys farm they were all huddled around the C.B.
and Bill said.
Bill: thank god what happened there?
James: we sort of had a little trouble with the group but
everythings ok now.
Bill: you were gone for a few days I think that its about time that
me and the others come up there with you and your group.
My eyes got wide and I said.

James: no dad we already have 60 people now as it is since the

attack and I think that it should be better if you stay at Jacky and
Larrys farm.
Bill: ok James just contact us if you come across some trouble
again.
As he said that I put up the C.B. and as I was sitting in the chair
John and Steve were talking in the kitchen.
John Clarkson: I think that going to the C.D.C. is a good idea and
Jack was right about being this close to the city even though were
still on farmland.
Steve was leaning on the kitchen sink and he said.
Steve: I think that it is a bad idea.
John looked at him and he said.
John Clarkson: why dont you think its a good idea?
Steve: because its not we have all the food and supplies we need
since Pat and the others found that empty mall. And secondly we
just killed off all the walkers so its safe now.
John Clarkson: more walkers could of heard the screams and the
gun shots since everyone over reacted and used their guns and
not their swords.
Steve: it wasnt my fault that the group got attacked if you and
the others were here then we wouldnt have gone through what
just happened.
John Clarkson: dont change the subject.
Steve walked closer to John and he pointed his finger and said.

Steve: all Im trying to say is that if you and your new friend
James were here all the time instead of solving everyones
problems then the people that are dead now wouldnt be dead.
John Clarkson: we solve other peoples problems because Im a Lt
of the police and James is just a nice kid you should be helping us
since youre the sheriff after all.
Steve: no dont put me not helping the group down on me. If it
werent for me you and the others would be dead now.
As he said that I walked into the kitchen with my hat in my hand
and John Clarkson asked.
John Clarkson: is everything ok James?
I looked up at him and said.
James: yeah were all good I told him what happened and he and
the others are doing fine to.
John Clarkson: good to hear James.
James: you guys can take back over.
They started to make their way to the living room after John
grabbed his hat and I said to them.
James: by the fire pit at sun set.
I said as I walked outside of the sliding glass doors and was on the
porch and I walked out to the ledge of the porch and looked out
onto the camp. And in one of the tents of the camp Linda and
Jeffery Clarkson (Johns mom and dad) were talking and Jeffery
was in a sleeping bag looking sick. And Linda was saying.
Linda Clarkson: Dont worry baby your just fine.

She said as she poured a little bit of water on his head and he
said.
Jeffery Clarkson: we need to go to the barn now honey.
He said as he coughed after he said that sentence. And Linda
Said.
Linda Clarkson: ok.
She said as she poked her head out side of the tent to see if
anyone was there and the only people that were there were Joe.
Who was on top of the R.V. and Kailie who was still by Jessicas
body. And she poked her head back into the tent and said to Jeffry.
Linda Clarkson: Joe is out there Ill get him to leave dont worry.
She said as she walked out of the tent and walked up to the R.V.
and Joe said.
Joe: good afternoon Mrs. Clarkson and how are you and Mr. doing.
She stared up at him and she said.
Linda Clarkson: were doing fine I need to tell you something.
Joe: good to hear what do you need to tell me?
Linda Clarkson: James needs to talk to you.
Joe looked down at her and he asked.
Joe: about what?
Linda Clarkson: he didnt say he just said that he needs to talk to
you now.

Joe started climbing down the latter and got next to her and
asked her.
Joe: where is James?
She pointed to the porch at the top of the hill and Joe said.
Joe: thanks.
He said as he started to walk to the house and as he left Linda
went back to the tent and bent down and said to Jeffery.
Linda Clarkson: ok lets go hes gone but hell be back soon.
She said as he put his arm around her shoulder and he had a hard
time walking to the farm and they both got into the barn and
Linda closed the door and she set Jeffery on the floor near the
back of the barn and Jeffery said.
Jeffery Clarkson: got the gun.
He said as he coughed and each time he did he stopped moving
less and less his mussels were failing and Linda pulled out the gun
and said.
Linda Clarkson: yeah I got it are you sure you want me to do this?
Jeffery coughed again and said wait till I die and then do it.
He said as he stopped talking and slowly started to die and she
asked.
Linda Clarkson: how will I know when your dea
She stopped talking and dropped the gun and dropped to her
knees next in front of Jefferys body and thats when she looked at
him and his eyes opened and she said.
Linda Clarkson: Jeffery.

The walker grabbed her and she screamed and at the porch
where me and Joe were talking we heard 3 gun shots and we both
looked at the barn and we both started running and I said.
James: get to the barn. Get to the barn now.
Everyone in the house came out running and John and Steve did
to and as the teachers were running Mr. Edwards asked.
Mr. Edwards: why are we all going to the barn again?
Then Mr. Lucisus said.
Mr. Luscisus: I heard that Johns parents went in there with a gun.
Everyone stopped outside of the barn and General Herman asked.
General Herman: what in the hell is going on here?
James: we came here to find out now John if that was your parents
in there then you should be the one to go in there and see them.
Johns eyes widened and he walked up to the door and he said.
John Clarkson: mom dad.
He said as he slowly started to open the door and as he did the
whole group was stunned. John was the most because his father
was feasting on his mothers body and he pulled out his shot gun
and said.
John Clarkson: Im sorry.
The walker eating looked up and groaned really loud at John and
started coming towards him and he shot it and it hit the ground.
As it fell to the ground John came into the barn. And as he

watched his mothers corpse eyes pop open and start groaning he
pumped his shot gun and fired at its head. And as he did I came
into the farm and he was staring at the bodies and I put my hand
on his shoulder and said.
James: me and the others got it from here I said as Jack and Steve
came into the room and took the bodies out and as they did
Danny was watching with his mom and they both looked away
from them carrying the bodies and Danny walked away to the
house. And Lisa walked up to John who came out of the barn and
she said.
Lisa Clarkson: I didnt know that either of them were bitten I
swear.
As she said that John held up his hand and said.
John Clarkson: whats done is done.
He said as he walked away and as he did Kailie was still on Jessica
and thats when her body started to move and Kailie pulled out
her pistol and put it by Jessicas head and said.
Kailie Kennedy: I love you.
She said as she pulled the trigger of the gun and Jessica was
finally dead and Joe got down from the trailer and walked over to
her and said.
Joe: come on you dont need to see the pain any more.
He said as she stood up and they both walked into the R.V. and
Joe closed the door. And as we were barring the others Nick and
Jamario Morris were carrying Jessicas body to where the other 2
graves were and as Nick said.
Nick Dowden: better her then any of us.

Jamario looked up at him and saw a line in the shape of a bit mark
in Nicks shirt and he dropped Jessicas body and said.
Jamario Morris: Hes bit Nick is bit.
I stopped digging and so did Jack, Sargent Jackson, Anthony,
Robert and Tony.
As Jamario said that Jack got his crossbow and said.
Jack: lets just kill this guy now and get it over with.
He said as Nick grabbed Uncle Jimmys pitch fork and swung it
and said.
Nick Dowden: Im fine it doesnt even hurt.
Thats when Kevin Williams bear hugged him from the back and
Nick dropped the pitch fork and Tony lifted his shirt up and there
was the bite mark on his stomach and Kevin let him go and Tony
said.
Tony Gabba: Dam it.
Jack went up to him and pointed his crossbow and said.
Jack: why dont I just kill this bastard right now so he doesnt end
up like Jessica or Johns parents.
I pointed my revolver at him and loaded it and said.
James: we dont kill the living.
He didnt pull the trigger and neither did I he just put his arm
down and kicked over the cooler that was near Joes R.V. and said.
Jack: to hell with the lot of you. This is how the camp dies.
He said as he walked up to the house. And Nick sat on the back of
the R.V. and Anthony asked.

Anthony: so what do we do with Nick?

Sargent Jackson: yeah what do we do with him James?
James: we will deal with him when he turns just try and keep him
away from the kids and the others can you do that for me
Anthony?
Anthony: sure James I can do that just get those bodies in those
graves theyre starting to stink up the camp.
He said as he walked over to where Nick was and Kevin and Tony
got Jessicas body and they started carrying it over to the other
graves and then Sargent Jackson said to me.
Sargent Jackson: the sooner we have this meeting the sooner we
can leave this place because Im starting to not trust it at all.
James: Im with you on that one and I use to come here to visit
over the summer.
After we buried Jessica and Johns parents the whole group was
gathered around the graves and we were talking about the people
who died and I was saying.
James: even though I didnt really know Mr. and Mrs. Clarkson
they were good people who stuck to my side during rough times
and I always liked them because of that. But now we must move
on and start thinking about the rest of us who are alive.
After I said that it was sun set and I was saying. As the group was
gathering around the fire pit.
James: come on everybody its time to talk.

I said as I put my hat on and Uncle Jimmy grabbed his pitch fork
and stood by his wife and a couple of people took seats by the fire
and Lisa told Danny.
Lisa: go with Eddie and Tommy in the trailer its grown up time.
She said as he went inside the R.V. and Joe came out and joined
us by the fire and I said.
James: all right so I gave all of you the day to think about leaving
the farm so what do you all have to say.
No one talked and then I said.
James: so we leave when the its dark out so the walkers wont
see us.
As I said that Joe said.
Joe: I dont think that we should leave James.
We all looked at Joe and I said.
James: why shouldnt we go Joe tell the rest of us.
Joe: well because we were just attacked and half of us are
loosening our minds over what just happened just last night and
we still need to get over our looses.
We all looked at him and then I said to the group.
James: is there anyone else who would like to speak before we
head on out.
No one else spoke up and a couple of them shook their heads
saying that it is a good idea and then Jamario said.
Jamario Morris: lets pack up and hit the road.

As they started to leave I said.

James: start siffeling the fuel out of the cars and put the fuel into
the bus and the trailers we only need my car, Pats truck, and
Gregs car so take all of the fuel out of the others.
I said as Jack and Sargent Jackson said.
Jack: me and Sargent Jackson got that.
He said as each of them got 2 gas carrying buckets and Jack put
his in my moms van and started to get the gas out and as he did
that Uncle Jimmy walked pass me and said.
Uncle Jimmy: Im going to go and get the rest of the fuel out of the
generatiter and we can use that as well.
He said as he and Aunt Janet walked up to the house and me,
Robert, Kevin and Tony were the only ones there and Tony asked
me.

Tony Gabba: so what do you want us to do?

James: I want you guys to put all of the medicine that we put in
the basement into the bus and the trailers.
They both shook their heads and Kevin and Tony walked up to the
house and Robert was still there and he asked.
Robert: so what do you want me to do then James?
James: walk with me.
Robert: ok.
He said as we started walking towards the barn and I said.

James: when was the last time we had a nice talk?

Robert: I dont think we ever did before the zombies started
coming.
James: thats my point how have things been with you?
Robert: things have been just fine even though the world ended a
few weeks ago its been good so what is our job?
I opened up the barn and walked over to the tool shed and said.
James: me and you are going to get as much tools as we need in
case something happens with the vehicles or something else we
will need for fixing.
Robert: ok.
He walked away and came back with 2 tool boxes and a duffel
bag and said.
Robert: we can use these to put the tools that we need in.
James: good idea.
I said as I started putting a couple of renches and bullets in the
tool box after he set both of them down and we started putting
stuff in the tool box and the duffel bag. At Uncle Jimmys house
Officer Cooper and his friends were still watching the news and
loading all of the guns and Officer Cooper said.
Officer Cooper: I can believe that were leaving this place and we
just got the Dam T.V. working.
Then Officer Philip said.

Officer Philip: yeah I know even just after the attack last night to I
cant believe that the others would give us there guns like that.
Officer Lance: well James is back and now that he is everyone is
going to listen to him.
Officer Cooper: everyone escape for Dr. Sargent and Steve.
Officer Lance: I cant believe that James and John would let them
join the group like that.
Officer Philip: I cant believe that James had us go into each tent
and take back the guns to those who followed Dr. Sargents and
Steves rules.
Officer Cooper: well it was worth it and I dont even trust half of
these people with guns as it is.
Officer Lance: same here.
He said as all of a sodden the T.V. went off and so did all of the
lights and Officer Cooper said.
Officer Cooper: that must have been Uncle Jimmy with the power.
Officer Lance: yep.
He said as he put the last gun in the duffel bag and said.
Officer Cooper: well Im done here.
He said as he closed his 2 duffel bags and sat in the couch.
Upstairs Maria and Savanna where sitting on the couch and they
were talking.
Savanna: so are you going to tell him.

Maria was in the chair and she asked.

Maria: tell him what?
Savanna: that you like him.
Maria looked at Savanna and said.
Maria: Im not going to tell him he has to much to handle on his
plate as it is.
Savanna: its either you or me thats going to tell him.
Maria: fine Ill tell James after we leave the C.D.C.
Then Tyler knocked on the side wall of the kitchen and he said.
Tyler Belles: James is calling everyone to the fire pit again.
They both got up off of the couch and they walked out the back
sliding back door and Tyler closed it and they all made their way
to the fire pit. And the Officers made their way out of the back
door and all 3 of them had 2 duffel bags of guns and they also
joined everyone by the fire pit and as everyone got there I said.

James: all right did everyones separate missions go good?

No one answered and Harry shouted.
Harry Oliver: what happened to all of our guns?
A couple of people said yeah and Garret gaina said.
Garret gaina: yeah what did happen to our guns?
James: I had the police of our group take them from the you.

They all started to say.

Doug Oliver: why?
James: because we will be going onto the open road and if there is
a passing bye heard weve all seen it in the movies there is all
ways a stupid person that pulls the trigger of the gun and gets the
group killed.
Then Brandon Bau asked.
Brandon Bau: why do some of the people get to have guns then?
James: because they are more experienced the you guys. And
what I say goes remember. Now as I was saying about traveling
did we get all of the stuff we need?
Jack: yeah we did we left Gregs car alone along with Johns red
suedan and
Steves F 51 ford and Vincents dads police car and we got the
extra fuel on the bus and in the trailers.
James: good and Officer Cooper did you and your friends get the
guns loaded encase we need them?

Officer Cooper: yes we did and we also put them all on safety
mode so no accidental shooting in the cars or the trailers.
James: good me and Robert got the tools into Mikes trailer and
now it sounds like we are ready to hit the road lets go guys.
As they all started to go to their cars I said.
James: John Steve did you get the C.B. into one of the cars or
trailers?

John Clarkson: yeah I have it in my trailer.

James: good because were going to need that.
Brandon Bau, Garret Gaina, Harry Oliver, Mr. Biggermen, Mr.
Smith, Mrs. Coon, Ms. Drotis, Mr. Riggs, Mr. Justice, Officer Lance,
Officer Philip, Kenneth Jones, Doug Oliver, Stacy Elstone, Cody
Eversole, Willie Polk, Eric Chestnut, Ryan Campbell, and Frank
Sirwits, Adrian, and Donvivan all got into the bus and Mr. Lucisus
was in the drivers seat.
And the people who got into Mikes trailer were. Grandma Gac,
Amy Dixon, Eddie Dixon, Tommy Dixon, Christy Watson, Michael
Watson, Bonny Valente, Michael Valente, Brittney Jane, Paul Eric,
Brent Coe, Cherrie Coe, Allie Coe, Josh Coe, Uncle John, Aunt
Maria (Johns wife), Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Janet, and Mark Clamming
all got into Mikes trailer and as Mark got in he held onto his
sniper and slapped the side of the trailer to let me know that they
were ready to go.
And in Joes trailer were Ryan Chalk, Lane Miller, Savanna, Tyler
Belles, Maria and Larry, Matt Saseen, and Joe who was driving and
Nick was in the back in the bed on the left throwing up in a
bucket. And Kevin Williams and Tony gabba were in there as well.
And in Gregs car were Carlyon Gac, Adam Gac, Andrew Gac,
Molly Gac, and Devon Gac. And I looked at Greg and he held up
his thumb saying that he was ready.
I looked over to Johns truck and inside his truck were Danny, Lisa,
Natalie, and Sally Jack was in side of his blue pickup truck and
they were both ready to go.
And as I was about to walk into my car I got into the drivers seat
and Robert was in the seat next to me and Sargent Jackson and
Dr. Sargent were in the back seat and in Pats car General
Herman, Jared, Shaun, Mitchell and Katy were all in the back and
Julie was in the front next to pat who was driving and in my car I
looked back and asked.

James: wheres Anthony?

Robert: hes staying with Nick in the back of the R.V.
I looked back and then at him and said.
James: ok.
I started my car and talked into the radio and said.
James: ok lets get this show on the road and just so you guys
know we have to make a stop at a place where there is some
survivors dont worry its on the way to the C.D.C.
Then Pat talked into his C.B. and said.
Pat: as long as there wont be any walkers there we will get the
survivors and leave promise me this James.
I talked back into the C.B. and said.
James: ok I promise you no site seeing get the survivors and get
out.
Then as I looked back and then I looked back at the front of the
car and then said into the radio.
James: ok guys follow me.

I said as I drove first then Joe followed behind me then Steve

followed behind Joe then Greg followed behind Steve and the Mike
followed behind Greg and the bus was last to leave the house. As
we were driving we reached Howell and Sargent Jackson saw the
sign and he asked. After 3 hours went bye.

Sargent Jackson: why are we in Howell when were supposed to

make our way to the C.D.C.
James: I know a few days ago before the takeover John and Steve
heard arguing on the C.B. and it wasnt my dads voice because it
wasnt that deep of a mans voice.
Robert: so your point is.
James: so I did some tracking while everyone and found out where
the source of the other radio was coming form.
Dr. Sargent: and where was the signal coming from?
James: an old camp ground that me and my family used to go to
called Taylors beach.
As we were all driving in Mikes trailer Josh was looking out the
front window and saw the sign and asked Mike who was driving.
Josh Coe: what are we doing in Howell?
Mike: I dont know Ill ask James.
He said as he reached for his C.B. and contacted my car and he
asked.
Mike: what are we doing in Howell James?
I reached my hand to the C.B. and said.
James: a few nights ago before the attack and the takeover John
and Steve heard argueing and it wasnt my dads camp so over
the few days I got a signal from the source and there are other
survivors in Taylors beach camp ground so were getting them and
going to the C.D.C.

Mike: ok just tell me where we go next time.

In Johns truck Lisa asked.
Lisa: what are we doing in Howell?
John Clarkson: well a few days ago before me and Steve found
Jamess dads groups channel we found another one first and
James found the signal to that one channel and there turns out
that there are other survivors at a small camp ground and were
going to go pick them up.
Lisa: ok so are we staying there?
John Clarkson: no James said that we were just getting the
survivors and going to the C.D.C.
Lisa Clarkson: ok good thing that its on the way to the C.D.C.
John Clarkson: yeah good thing.
As I was pulling into Taylors beach camp ground I saw smoke and
I said.
James: ok thats not good.
Sargent Jackson looked out the window and said.
Sargent Jackson: I wonder what they would be doing with a fire
that big.
James: where about to find out.

I said as I and the others behind me followed me down the dirt hill
and I pulled up and parked in the middle of the street and me,
Robert and Sargent Jackson got out of the car and Josh opened
the door to Mikes trailer and I said.

James: no stay in your cars were only going to be a few minutes.

I said as I made my way down a hill to a giant bon fire where I saw
13 other people down there and Josh said to the people behind
the door.
Josh Coe: everyone get back in here James is not going to be long.
As me Robert and Sargent Jackson made our way down the hill a
guy from the group who was holding a shot gun came up to me
and said.
Guy: James hows it going?
He said as I gave him a hand shake and said.
James: its going good John whats going on here.
John Bednarski: group just got attacked we are burning the bodies
now.
He said as me and the others followed him to the fire and I said.
James: how many died?
John Bednarski: before the attack there were 100 of us.
I stopped walking and looked back at Sargent Jackson and Robert
and they both looked at me and then we followed him over to
another man and John said.
John Bednarski: James you remember my wife Sheila.
He said as he walked by his wife and I held out my hand and
shook hers and said.

James: nice to see you again.

After I shook her hand she asked.
Sheila Bednarski: James did the rest of your family survive?
James: yeah theyre the ones in the big trailer that is behind the
Winnebago.
She said thanks and her and John grabbed their bag of stuff they
had with them and they both started walking to the trailer and I
walked up to the man and said.
James: Mr. Taylor Im here now so please go with John and Sheila
and go in that trailer there and you will find my mom.
Mr. Taylor: thanks James its nice to see a fimaler face after the
attack took my family.
He said as he and Mrs. Nicky who was helping him walk to the
trailer because he was to sad to and as she walked by I said to
her.
James: hi Mrs. Nicky my moms in the trailer she might want to
talk to you.
As I said that I turned to the abelas who that survived the attack
and said to Mrs. Kathy who was the mother of the family and said.
James: Mrs. Kathy my mom would also like to talk with you to.
She started walking with the others and said.
Kathy Abela: thanks James.
As she left I turned to the others and told Michael abela.
James: Michael Harry, Justin, Garret, and Nick are in the bus.

As I said that he started walking a Makayla and her younger

brother Stephen and younger sister Brokelyn and their father
Michael Ogden made their way to the trailer and Ben Abela
walked to the bus and Sargent Jackson asked me.
Sargent Jackson: what do you want us to do with the fire?
I looked at the fire and said.
James: just let it burn with the dirt surrounding it shouldnt get to
the grass.
I said as I put on my hat and we all started walking up the hill and
Sargent Jackson said.
Sargent Jackson: ok.
We all got to the top of the hill and Robert got into the seat next
to the drivers seat and Sargent Jackson got into the back next to
Dr. Sargent and as I saw Josh outside of the trailer I walked over
there and said.
James: whats the matter now?
Josh Coe: this is too much people.
James: I told you that there were going to be some people that we
need to rescue.
Josh Coe: yeah some not 13 this is just 13 mouths to feed,
protect, and
More weapons to hand out during an attack.
James: we have enough weapons and we will handle those
problems when we get to them get back in the trailer and we can
get to the C.D.C.
As we were walking Anthony opened the door to his trailer and he
came out and Josh stopped walking and Anthony said.

Anthony: Its not looking good.

I looked at Nick through the window and then me and Josh walked
into the trailer and everyone but Ryan and Joe gathered around
the short walk way and me and Josh were talking to Nick.
James: are you sure you want to be left here.
Nick threw up blood into his white bucket and said.
Nick Dowden: yes every crack bump and stop and turn is just pure
hell please leave me here.
I looked back at Josh and then looked back at Nick and said.
James: let me talk to the others.
As me and Josh went outside John Clarkson, Vincents dad,
Anthony, Robert, Sargent Jackson, Tony Gabba, and Kevin Williams
and Joe were all outside the trailer and Anthony said.
Anthony: so do we do it?
We all looked at him and I asked.
James: let him do what?
Anthony: leave him here like he wants.
Tony Gabba: before we think of that is he looside because the
virus might be making him say what he is thinking.
James: hes looside I know it and I do believe that the travel is
hurting him so we leave him here and let him die in peace.

As I said that Jack was carrying Nick out of the trailer and we were
all watching as we set him by a tree and as he set him down I
kneeled down on my feet and said.
James: this is what you wanted are you sure you dont want one
of us to shoot you?
Nick coughed and said.
Nick Dowden: no I dont want anyone to shoot me just go and get
the others to safety.
I looked at Josh who was standing over me and as I stood up I
padded Nick on the shoulder and said.
James: thanks for fighting the fight for us buddy.
I said as I made my way to my car and as everyone started to
make their way to their cars and bus Josh stayed and said.
Josh Coe: you will be missed.
As he closed the door to the trailer I started my car and I drove
first again and the others started to follow me in the same line
that we had formed before and we made our way to the C.D.C.
again.
(Begin Transition)
There was a man on a computer screen and he was saying.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: my name is Dr. Ethan Jackson and it has been
91 days since wildfire and absolutely 30 days since the world
started to shut down.
He froze in front of the screen and flipped through some papers
he had with him and he said.

Dr. Ethan Jackson: me and my partner Dr. Justin Sean have been
working nonstop to find a cure for this but we have not had a
break through at all with in the months of work we have been
testing the flesh of the undead that we go samples of flesh from
outside and so there has been no prevail that we will ever find a
cure.
As he said that the screen went dark and then the screen showed
the doctor in a huge lab full of computers and a computer on the
giant wall and Dr. Jackson was walking and he was wearing a
proactive suit as he punched in the code to a door and behind the
door was his partner and he said as he walked into the room.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: so found anything yet?
He asked as he sat in a seat next to his partner who was looking
through a pare scope at some flesh and he put a drop of
something on the flesh and he watched the blood and the zombie
virus was getting attacked and the drop didnt work and his
partner said. As he slammed his hand on the table.
Dr. Justin Sean: Dam it every god dam time.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: it didnt work?
Dr. Justin Sean: no it didnt work just like every piece of shit
sample we have here.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: well we need to keep trying until we find a cure
or at least a way to stop the virus.
Dr. Justin Sean looked at the ground and said.

Dr. Justin Sean: fine if we dont find a cure by tomorrow Im killing

my self.
Dr. Ethan Jackson looked at him and said.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: ok but Im going to wait till the clock runs out
and then stop and leave this place I dont believe in murder or
suicide.
He said as he walked over to an oven like structure and he put
something in there and as it was in there him and Dr. Sean both
fell asleep and a buzzer went of and they both jumped as they
woke up and Dr. Jackson got the thing out of the oven like
structure and started messing with the tissue and as he was doing
that he accidently knocked some chemicals into the samples and
a he looked at his suit and it got into the hand part of the suit and
a computer voice said.
Computer: hardoues spill among you go to decontamation in hall
way now.
Dr. Jackson and Dr. Sean both ran to the hall and sprinklers came
on as they were taking off their suits and they were both down to
their black suit that were black and the computer said.
Computer: decontamination complete new system over load.
They both put their hands on the glass door and said.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: No.
Dr. Justin Sean: No.
The room exploded.
(Begin transmition)

Dr. Jackson was staring at the computer screen and was talking
into it again and was saying.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: the samples were no good.
He said as he was looking in at the camera and he said.
Dr. Ethan Jackson: they were destroyed in the lab after it got
containerized because of a stupid chemical spill that I should have
seen coming. My partner plans on killing himself tonight but I am
going to remain here because I plan on finding the cure without
the lab.
As he said that his partner came in with a bottle if wine and said.
Dr. Justin Sean: I bet you I could chuck this bottle at the end of the
room from here.
He said as he laughed and stood in the center of the room and Dr.
Jackson looked at him as he threw the bottle and it shattered as it
hit the other side of the room and he said.
Dr. Justin Sean: and it is out of the park.
Outside of the C.D.C. it was sun set and me and the others just
arrived and we were all getting out of the cars and pumping our
shot guns and I got out my revolver and said.
James: watch for walkers.
Josh came up behind me and John and Steve followed close
behind me as well and everyone made there way out of the cars
and we were making our way to the front of the C.D.C. and we
were stepping over bodies and Lisa said to the kids.
Lisa Clarkson: dont look just dont look.
She said as Danny hid his face in her side as they were walking
and we were making our way to the shutters that were closed. In

side then C.D.C. Dr. Jackson was still sitting by the computers and
they picked up a living force that was on the C.D.C.s ground and
both scientist bent down and looked at the monitors and they
pulled up the security camera and they saw me and John walk up
to the shutters and I banged on them and John said.
(Outside of the C.D.C.)
John Clarkson: there is no one here.
I turned to him and said.
James: there has to be why would the shutters be down if there
werent.
Then General Herman backed his way up to me and was holding
his pistol and said.
General Herman: the C.D.C.s all over the U.S. are programmed to
close in case a disease like this comes out to protect anyone who
is inside the building can be safe.
I walked back up to the shutters and banged on them again and
said.
James: well there has to be survivors there were in the walking
dead when this happened.
Then Steve said.
Steve: that was a T.V. show this is reality and the truth is that we
need to head to the closets military base here.
General Herman: fort hildermen.
Then Larry said as he was pacing back and forward.
Larry: Fort hildermen is 30 miles in the other direction.

John Clarkson: we dont have enough fuel to get there as it is.

Then Joe shouted.
Joe: walker.
A soilder looking walker started walking towards us and Jack came
up with his arrow and fired it and killed it and he said.
Jack: we cant be this close to the city after dark.
Then Lisa came up to John and said.
Lisa Clarkson: Jacks right we need to leave and go to fort
hildermen.
As Dr. Jackson was watching us start to panic he turned to Dr.
Sean and Dr. Sean said.
Dr. Justin Sean: it will all go to waste.
Dr. Ethan Jackson looked back at the screen and we were all
starting to panic.
(Outside C.D.C.)
John Clarkson: there right come on lets go.
He said as he started pulling my arm and I looked up at the
security cameras and said.
James: they moved.
The others stopped walking away and Steve said.
Steve: what moved?

James: the cameras they turned.

I said as I walked back up to the shutters and said.
James: I know they did.
John Clarkson: you imaged it like General Herman said they all
start to shut down by them selfs lets go.
I ovieded his arm as he tried to grab me again and I banged on
the shutters and looked at the cameras and said.
James: I know your in there listeing to me come on we have
women, children and hardly any gas left we drove for hours to get
here pleas let us in.
Inside the C.D.C. Dr. Jackson was watching us and then back
outside.
Anthony came up to me and John said.
John Clarkson: we need to leave now.
Anthony pulled on my arm and said.
Anthony: come on James.
We all started to walk away and as we were Anthony was oulling
on both of my arms and I was going back and I was saying.
James: youre killing us your killing us.
I turned around and Anthony let go of me and I fixed my hat and
Dr. Jackson was watching all of this and Jack killed another walker
with his crossbow and then as we were walking people were
loading there shot guns and all of a sodden the shudders opened
and we all turned around with our mouths dropped and there
were bright lights in all 3 of the shutters and some of the kids that
were crying stopped and we all started at the doors.
