This course provides learners with an understanding of and knowledge and application skills needed in the
areas of circuit design and control of circuits and systems used in the fluid power industry. Prerequisite:
FLPO1525 and FLPO1529.

C. OUTLINE OF MAJOR CONTENT AREAS
1. Demonstrate understanding of common directional control circuits.
2. Demonstrate understanding of common pressure control and intensifier circuits.
3. Demonstrate understanding of common filter, temperature, and safety circuits.
4. Design open center circuit.
5. Design closed center circuit.
6. Explain regenerative circuit operation.
7. Explain pressure control circuit operation.
8. Design filter circuit.
9. Recognize load sensing pressure comp circuits.
