OPENING SCENE
The scene opens to a busy mall. Various shots of people are
shown. After three or four transitions MAXTON begins to
speak, created as a voice over.
MAXTON DEROSSETT
I never knew that a mall would change my
life in so many ways. I mean, I guess I
could say that I never knew that anywhere
would change my life; But, more
specifically, a mall. In a world full of
fast paced actions and an always-moving
driven lifestyle we often avoid stress
induced environments like these, but not
I. Thats what makes me so weird, aside
from my name being Maxton. I always ask
myself why my parents didnt name me
something normal like Max, or Josh, but my
mother to this day says she named me
Maxton because she loves me a ton more
than all the other mothers in the world
that named their children Max.
The scene shifts to a gathering area of a mall. The camera
pans around until we see MAXTON sitting on a bench.
And there I am. Maxton Derossett. It all started
here, in a mall.
