Treatment for HAM Radio Documentary

Title: Amateur Radio History (documentary by Claire Moore)

Summary:
This documentary explores the early invention of wireless radio, the history of its use in years past
(during the war), the current uses of it today, and the future outlook of it, pertaining to current operators.

Shot List
LOCATION BASED- (2)
Milford, MI (JOHN W. MOOREs MONTAGE)
Will shoot a major part of the documentary here. The shots will be
random, but will consist of several angles of my grandfathers amateur
radio equipment, such as
B-Roll
-Operating equipment
-Transceivers, antennas, certifications, etc.
-Walking around house/outside
-Describing his station set-up
Interview
-Sequences of him speaking about his licensing, his years before the
Vietnam War in the Army, the future of HAM, frequency capabilities,
NWS affiliations (possibly w/John E. Moore)

Owosso, MI (JOHN E. MOOREs MONTAGE)

Consists of a smaller, but important part of the documentary.
B-roll
-Showing of licensing
-WNIC relics

Interview

Sequences of him describing his internship at WNIC, what happens when

you dont have a license and you use the FM, FCC regulations, how to
get licensed, NWS affiliations (by himself)

Alternate Ideas
#1- General History of Radio
Summary:
Instead of focusing solely on HAM (considering I may have a 5% chance of having a problem shooting
the interview), Ill make a broader study of radio history, including HAM and commercial radio, and OEs
radio station popularity.
