Review-: FANTASTIC FOUR: 2015

.---':\ The Fantastic Four was

a disappointing movie, but even then it had its good
moments. The general story line of the movie was a boy [aka Reed Richards) that
makes a [slightly dysfunctional) teleportation device; then a high-class institution

discovers him and he helps build one for them as well. When they finished, three of
the scientists and one friend of theirs went to the other side [which they knew was
an alternate dimensionJ. After being there a while the land they were standing on

seemingly erupted, and in the chaos of getting back in to the teleport each of them
gained a super power. Later in the movie they go back to the other dimension to
save Victor von doom but

it is found later to be the wrong move and he nearly

destroys the earth. The plot of the stor,v is prett,v rnuch the same as the original fbr
example it is. invention is invented. po\vers are received. good fights bad and wins. Also

in genre it

whole movie they used their sound track really well like that. Making it a little more
good. The
enjoyable to sit there.hwatch it. The special afl-ects in this one were also very
body of Doom is one of the most extraordinary special affects jobs tha{fitaveever seen.

Two more examples of extraordinary special affects was for one the vofiex light thing
that happened when they were teleporling and second was the neon green energy thillg

that resembled molten lava that was in the other dimension. One thing they cor-rld have

worked on a bit more though. u,as the length of the movie. ll'hich seemed to be cut shorl

for some reason. Another thing about the movie was that it w-asn't moving along through
the movie very fast, and when

it did get to the "good" stuff it went by really fast. About

half of it was building the teleport then the next quarter was of them being studied by the
soldiers then the next quarter uas them tighring Doom'

consisted of Michael B. Jordan (As

Johnny Storm), Kate Mara (as Sue Storm), Miles Teller (as Reed Richards). Jamie Bell
(as Ben Grimm), and Toby Kebbell (as

Victor Domashev aka Doom). All the actors

named and unnamed did an amazingjob at playing their part in the movie, but even then

the characters seemed boring. Being that they u-ere almost all nerds and science

prodigies,&ould not connect with any of them including Ben. Ben lives in a junkyard
and seems to be Reeds right hand man there's not much to him but he is the most normal
person in the group and later he tums into the thing. Johnny Storm is an African

American man who races his car and wrecks it, when his dad picks him up from the

hospital his car is taken away and his dad forces him to work on the project since he is
good with his tools. Later he becomes the human torch and helps defeat Doom. Reed
Richards is a man who since elementary school has been trying to invent something

important/ impressive and with the help of his best friend Ben they did just that Reed
later tums into Mr. Fantastic. Sue Storm the female in the group is in the institution
because her father is the one in charge and she is doing pattern recognition she later is

able to turn invisible and is called the invisible girl. Victor Domashev is the strong silent

type who is also extremely smart, he is the one lr''ho starled the project and the one w-ho
came up with
the original large-scale design but he is also kind of a

obviousithough, out the w-hole movie that he should not be trusted. Later in the movie he
becomes Doom and tries to destroy the world as we know it, but the fantastic four def'eats

him once they pull together and work as a team. This is an'ook" movie but from a person
who wanted the excitement that was there in the original this one is just disappointing.
