NASA - Mission to Mars

Please write a two paragraphs reflecting on your experience today talking to our friend at
NASA. What did you find interesting? What are some new things that you learned?
Was there anything you already knew that Mr. Storm talked about as well? What
did you enjoy the most about this experience? Please make sure to be specific and
explain your ideas.
Today we contacted NASA and I learned new things. I learned about Mars and other
planets. I learned about how the astronauts live on space shuttles. I also learned what Nasa
is working on right now. Nasa also told us what astronauts do in space.
The things we learned about Mars are that it is about at the closest Mars can get to the
earth is 33.9 million miles and from the farthest it is million miles 249 million miles and other things
like the first rocket they made was launched to the moon. Astronauts take all the water in off the food
for their journey to space and when they eat they put water on it and eat it and astronauts have very
little space in there rocket so if your closterfobic you should not be an astronaut. Nasa is working on a
rocket that can go to Mars that will probably be bigger than the biggest rocket right now and they are
also working on how the with stay on Mars because if they stay on the surface they can get radiacion
so they think they should stay underground because there is less radiation. We ascted NASA if there
realy was water on Marsand he yes and I laerned that Mars had polar ice caps! I loved this
expiearance with NASA!!!
