It means that children development depends on
physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. For
example, childrens language skills influence
their ability to handle social relationship.
Because they can share what they want to
share to other people and they can understand
the information that other people share.
Here, teacher must be able to use all of those
relation in arranging good and appropriate
strategy to enhance childrens abilities in all
areas. It could be applied in our curriculum that
the content of the curriculum have to concern
to the relation of physical, social, emotional,
and cognitive domains.
2. Development occurs in a relatively
orderly sequence, with later abilities,
skills, and knowledge building on those
already acquired.
Human development research indicates that
relatively stable, predictable sequences of
growth and change occur in children during the
first nine years of life. So the program of the
curriculum must provides a general framework
to guide how teachers prepare the learning
environment and plan realistic curriculum goals
and objectives and appropriate experiences.
3. Development proceeds at varying rates
from child to child as well as unevenly
within different areas of each child's
functioning.
It means that each individual of children has
different time to acquire an ability depend on
individual personality, temperament, learning
style, and experiential and family background.
Every children have their own strength,
weakness, and interest. For example, we can
see that some children who are able to read
and to count number, they still find difficulties
to roll his body on the matrass.
