Hexagons Exercise Team Review


Answer the following questions as a team:
1. What actions helped the team accomplish the task?
Planning systematically, allocating tasks and a shape to each individual, communicating via
hand gestures.
2. What actions hindered the team in completing the task?
People being hands on and obstructing the view of others and thus, blocking the google
image of a hexagon.
3. How did leadership emerge in completing the task?
Rotational leadership emerged by people moving towards the papers.
4. Who participated most, and in what way?
Ayni participated the most by facilitating herself by moving towards the shapes.
5. Who participated least, and why?
I participated the least because I was observing everyone else whom did not act according
to the original plan thus got frustrated and left the other members to do it. Yet, when they
werent successful I stepped in and became a participative facilitator.
6. What team roles emerged during this short activity?
Observer, Participator, Rotational leader and thinker.
7. What feelings did you experience during the task?
I felt frustrated because the team members forgot the plan and just pounced on the task like
cats, yet was curious to what actually they were doing because they werent successful.
8. What might you do differently if you were to carry out the task again, and why?
If in this positon again, in the preparation would ensure all group members clearly
understood the plan and act accordingly.
