SAIPAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Physical Education:

Mr. Linkenhelt engages us in various
sports and activities that put our skills to
the test. As we experience and learn about
a number of sports, we begin to acquire the
basics of every athletic field and steadily set
and achieve higher goals and standards.
Also, he emphasizes the importance of
teamwork and sportsmanship, while
keeping a keen eye out for effort and
attitude. Our grades are based on physical
achievement and improvement using a
series of tests which enhance our grasp on
fitness holistically.

On a daily basis, all the classes get
ready by participating in calisthenics to
relieve our muscles and enhance flexibility.
This aspect is highly significant because it
prevents serious injury and medical issues.
We are incessantly drilled and taught new,
intriguing aspects of sports. Our abilities
are tested through a series of five tests
designed to show physical abilities such as
strength, speed, and endurance. This
demand might sound rough but in other
times, Mr. Linkenhelt freshens the classes
by providing scrimmages and some games
to compete with fellow classmates. Even
with the drills, students tend to
acknowledge them as exciting rather than a
simple toil. When people imagine tests, they
may become pressured by the tension that
they bring. In this class, however, these
tests are designed to mark improvement
and help set standards for physical
achievement.

Physical education
with Mr. Linkenhelt
provides not only
standard moral
behaviors, but also teaches
us to have passion and a
positive attitude. These
skills are not only used in
the class, but can be
taken and used in
society as a basis for
mindsets and moral
conduct. By: Colin
