How to find which test is right for


you and be prepared.
Colleges and Universities
accept both!
But some colleges or universities
Do require a writing test in addition
for the ACT. Now is a good time
to start to think about what
colleges you will want to attend
and find if any of them have a
specific requirement.

FRESHMEN
Focus on the highest grades you can
get and be on college preparatory
academic track.

SOPHOMORES
Take the PSAT:
This will give you an idea of what you
need to focus on for SAT/ACT
preparation.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Can be made for:

Students with documented


disabilities.
If disability would cause
impact to the exam
If requested accommodation
is needed
If testing accommodations
are already granted for school
Requests can take up to 7 weeks to be approved

TOFEL
Teaching English as a Foreign Language

1. Given in English,
administered via a computer
2. Has four sections:

b. Reading
c. Speaking
