    Friday, January 16th

    Students will help make snowman pancakes and


    sequence the steps. We will mix the ingredients,
    fry them up, and decorate our pancakes to
    transform them into snowmen. This will be a
    fun and exciting morning in first grade! We will
    need volunteers and donations in order for this
    event to be a success. All volunteer
    opportunities will be on a first come, firstserve basis. Thank you in advance for your
    help and support!

    Tip
    We will soon be learning about time! Time can
    be a tricky skill for children to learn and
    understand. Here is one of my favorite

    All parents new to Ocee are invited to attend a


    New Parent Panel Discussion on Thursday,
    January 14th, from 8:00 9:00 a.m. in the Ocee
    Learning Commons.
    You will hear information provided by our
    curriculum support teacher, counselor,
    cafeteria manager, media specialist, technology
    specialist, PTA board members, and a Talented
    and Gifted (TAG) program teacher.

    Ocee Bingo Night

    Mark your calendars for Friday, January 29th,


    This is a fun night of
    playing Bingo, winning prizes and the Basket
    Raffle drawings. There are two separate
    sessions, one beginning at 5:00 p.m. and the
    other beginning at 7:00 p.m.
    If interested, please make sure you turn in
    your money and Bingo form as soon as possible.
    Space is limited and everything is on a firstcome, first- serve basis! I hope to see you
    there!
