Hi,
My name is Colin. I live on an island in Scotland. You have to travel by ferry for half an hour to
get to the island. The island is quite small and there is a village on it. Its got a school, a
supermarket, a cinema, a restaurant and a few shops.
In the summer lots of tourists come to the island. Many of them like watching the eagles that live
in the hills behind the village. I know a lot about eagles so I tell the tourists about them.
I live with my parents and my sister in a house in the centre of the village. My sister and I can
walk to school every day because it isnt far. There is a lake on the island. It also isnt far from
my house - I can see it from my bedroom window.
On nice days after school, my friends and I ride our bicycles or play basketball. At weekends we
often go hiking in the hills or go swimmimg in the lake.
