Current Position; Carlisle College

2 year course studying Level III Media Diploma and GCSE English.
Previous experience has allowed me to be enrolled directly onto the higher course (Level 3)
instead of the entry level (2).
Previous Employment;
12 months full time work with Sellafield Ltd. Decommissioning Communications Department;
This mainly involved making commercial videos for a large number of clients ranging from plant
operators, large events and conferences, to interviewing some of the highest ranking staff on site
e.g. Jack DeVine. As with this, the importance of the job also meant I had to do a large amount of
administrative work; such as time management.
I also have spent the recent Holidays working at the Local Game Store is workington as a sales
assistant.
Experiences Gained During Employment;
Final Cut ProX Certified Editor qualification.
Vast knowledge with camera and audio equipment.
General work place/office environment experience.

Interests;
I have always had an interest in film and media production and my work experience at Sellafield
has confirmed this. I was very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to cover a wide range
of subjects within this field. I hope my future will lie within the film making industry. In the
meantime, I value any work or lifetime experiences I can gain.

Other Experiences;
After leaving Southfield Technology College, I enrolled on the National Citizenship Award which
was aimed at widening opportunities for young people. This also lead onto the opportunity of
joining a Tall Ship expedition, where I gained a lifetime experience and sailing qualification.
