Study objective

In this topic we will do a double exercise of


imagination: in a first phase, we start from a space, that you
want to transform, remodel it after a strategy defined three
new qualities i assign to them.
In the second phase, we envision a volume; starting
from images captured in sketches and photographs from the
topic no. 1, abstract them and using our reasoning
concerning the Gestalt principles: proximity, similarity,
closure principle, continuity, the stroke, the principle of
joint movement principle of the common principle of
region sustainability items, striking principle, the principle
of past experience, the principle, we reach through
progression from initial sketch to variations in size, which
will be located in the territory of configured at phase 1.
It seeks through this exercise the habit of creating new
physical qualities of architectural space according to their
own strategies, linking with the proposed architectural
object whose formal configuration is in accord with the
relationship between figure and background-according to
Gestalt practice-as well as an understanding of the layout of
the design procedure. In addition, imagining a dynamic
space represented by a site surrounded by neighborhoods
and to report to it, it's a new problem.

1. Obiectul studiului

n tema aceasta vom face un dublu exerciiu de


imaginaie: ntr-o prim faz, pornim de la un spaiu
concret, pe care l transformm, remodelndu-l dup o
strategie definit de trei noi caliti pe care i le atribuim.
n faza a doua, vom imagina un volum; pornind de
la imaginile surprinse n schiele i fotografiile de la tema
nr. 1, abstractizndu-le i folosindu-ne de raionamente ce
in de principiile Gestalt:
principiul proximitatii,
similitudinii, continuitatii, inchiderii conturului, deplasarii
comune, regiunii comune, contiguitatii elementelor,
pregnantei, experientei trecute, proeminentei,vom ajunge
prin progresie de la schia iniial, la variante volumetrice,
ce vor fi amplasate pe teritoriul configurat la faza 1.
Se urmrete prin acest exerciiu deprinderea crerii unor
noi caliti fizice ale spaiului arhitectural conform cu
strategii proprii, corelarea cu obiectul arhitectural propus a
crei configuraie formal este n acord cu relaiile ntre
figur i fond conform practicii Gestalt-ului ct i
nelegerea aspectului procesual al proiectrii. n plus,
imaginarea unui spaiu dinamic reprezentat de un sit
nconjurat de vecinti i raportarea la acestea, este o
problem nou de coordonare.

1. Fundamentals
PHASE 1 - THE TERRITORY
The site on which we will report over the next issues
of design, is a concrete one: an area belonging to Herstru
Park, located between the Constantin Prezan BoulevardAirmen-square,
Aviatorilor Boulevard-Herastrau Lake,
according to the case plan-scale 1:2000-attached. On this
territory, we propose an area from an imaginary town, after
minimal rules of urbanism (movement, neighbourliness,
angles of view).
Area study, subject to the exercise of our other rules
than those currently in existence, is divided by an
imaginary grids made up of lines forming a right angle with
each other, in 61 parcels of land (lots). Each student will
receive a parcel, the boundary between them turns around
the country-in some cases, traffic in the area. This grid
overlaps the existing alleys plan of the Park, these tangledas existing items on the parcel studied.
The affected area of a student, will be 60 x 40 m
(2400mp projector), meaning a parcel of land.
A first intervention will be altering this territory-his
own batch of each student through 3 interventions in the
landscape (excavation and filling in the field), which may
be expressed at the level of concept of three verbs,
representing key words, symbolic, chosen by each student,
which express the action and its consequences, in order to
obtain an interesting space for architectural objects.
We will try, just like contemporary artist Richard Serra
in his manifesto of the years 1967-1968, to adopt a list of
verbs that express a number of interventions/actions by
which we change the landscape, intervening at the scale of
the parcel of land. We act upon Earth, place, territory, an
area of not more than 30% within the parcel of land. We
dig, after which we will put the volume excavated in the
vicinity. Valleys area shall not exceed 90 cm (45-cm
mode), any positive nor negative. We shape the territory,
creating the site for the next phase: the architectural
ensemble of three simple volumes.

1. Elemente de tem
FAZA 1 - TERITORIUL
Amplasamentul la care ne vom raporta pe parcursul
urmtoarelor teme de proiectare, este unul concret: o zon
aparinnd parcului Herstru, situat ntre bulevardul
Constantin Prezan Piaa Aviatorilor Bulevardul
Aviatorilor lacul Herstru, conform cu planul se situaie
scara 1: 2000 - anexat. Pe acest teritoriu, vom propune o
zon dintr - un ora imaginar, alctuit dup reguli
minimale de urbanism ( circulaii, vecinti, unghiuri de
vedere ).
Zona pe care o studiem, supus n exerciiul nostru,
altor reguli fa de cele actuale, este mprit cu ajutorul
unei grile imaginare alctuit din linii care fac unghi drept
ntre ele, n 61 de parcele (loturi ). Fiecare student va primi
o parcel, limita dintre ele putndu se transforma n
anumite cazuri, n zona de circulaie. Aceast gril, se
suprapune pe planul de alei existent al parcului, acestea
pstrndu se, ca elemente existente pe parcela de studiat.
Suprafaa afectat unui student, va fi de 60 x 40 m,
(2400mp), nsemnnd o parcel.
O prim intervenie va fi alterarea acestui teritoriu
lotului propriu fiecrui student - prin 3 intervenii n peisaj
( sptur i umplutur n teren ), aciune care s poat fi
exprimat la nivel de concept de trei verbe, reprezentnd
cuvinte cheie, simbolice, alese de fiecare student, care s
exprime aciune i consecinele ei, n vederea obinerii unui
spaiu interesant pentru amplasarea unor obiecte
arhitecturale.
Vom ncerca, ntocmai ca artistul contemporan Richard
Serra n manifestul su dintre anii 1967 1968, s adoptm
o list de verbe, care s exprime o serie de intervenii /
aciuni, prin care schimbm peisajul, intervenind la scara
lotului nostru. Vom aciona asupra pmntului, locului,
teritoriului, pe o suprafa de maximum 30 % din cadrul
parcelei noastre. Vom spa, dup care vom pune volumul
excavat n imediata vecintate. Zona denivelat nu va
depi 90cm (modul de 45 cm ), nici n pozitiv nici n
negativ.Vom modela astfel teritoriul, crend situl pentru
urmtoarea faz: ansamblu arhitectural din trei volume
simple.
Cteva exemple de verbe din lista sculptorului Richard
Serra ce in de natura procesului de creaie, sunt: a ridica, a
nvrti, a rostogoli, a roti, a modula, a tensiona, a decupa, a
tia, sau care reprezint un posibil context de echilibru,
de simultaneitate, ( to lift, to roll, to rotate, to modulate,
to tension, to cut, of equilibrum, of simultaneity, )

Note:
The idea that there are words, seemingly simple, but
with a distinct symbolic system that can summarize
activities carried out throughout our lives, key words, and
from the way Denise Scott Brown, and was titled party of
81-anniversary: Fuse: In Re, Pro, Con, (English), as a
minimum, whose meaning may his whole life underlining.

PHASE 2 THE OBJECT

FAZA 2 OBIECTUL

Choose 3 compositions (seen through the limits or

and try to stylize the shapes we have in the image,
reducing them to simple forms. We are trying at the same
time, through different thicknesses of lines, agglomeration,
or increases points, intersections, or overlapping of flat to
abstract and to transform the chosen composition, reducing
it to 3 (three), which forms the essential to work together,
forming a composition. We choose, by agreement with the
workshop Guide, one of three that will constitute the
starting point for the ensemble.

ncadrrile de la exerciiile anterioare, tema nr.1, faza 1) i
ncercm s stilizm formele pe care le avem n imagine,
reducndu le la forme simple. ncercm totodat, prin
grosimi diferite de linii, aglomerri sau ngrori de puncte,
intersecii sau suprapuneri de plane, s abstractizm i s
transformm compoziia aleas, reducnd-o la 3 ( trei )
forme eseniale, care s conlucreze, alctuind o compoziie.
Alegem, de comun acord cu ndrumtorul de atelier, una
din cele trei, care va constitui punctul de plecare pentru
constituirea volumetriei.

We have a 2D composition. Composition obtained may


be plan, elevation, section, or a horizontal one or several
volums at the same time, existing several interpretations.
Composition it will compile every student has a series of
requirements, depending on the configured territory. We

graphic methods concerning the location, plan to highlight

Avem o compoziie 2D. Compoziia obinut poate fi


planul, elevaia, sau o seciune orizontal, a uneia sau a mai
multor volumetrii n acelai timp, existnd mai multe
variante de interpretare. Compoziia pe care o va alctui
fiecare student are ns o serie de obligativiti, n funcie
de teritoriul configurat. Vom amplasa volumetria pe
teritoriul creat la faza 1, n vecintatea zonei pe care am
prelucrat-o. Vom ncerca prin metode grafice ce in de
situarea n plan, s punem n eviden noul ansamblu.

2. Target date / Outcomes:


It is required to carry out the newly created territory
form, format A3 and A2 in phase I final teaching, from 3
mm thick mousse, fixed to a wooden rod steel frame or
extruded polystyrene with 3x3cm section.

2. Predare
Se cere s se realizeze macheta teritoriului nou creat, pe
format A3 n etapa I i A2 la predarea final, din mousse de
3mm grosime, fixat pe o ram din baghete de lemn sau
polistiren extrudat cu seciunea de 3x3cm.
