Welcome to the city of Arcdut, a city busting with trade, arenas, guilds,

and homes. The dwarves that used to inhabit these Badhon Mountains
built the city ages ago. It was but twenty years ago Ricard Fost had
taken the crown, and has made the citizens live in fear. He is a ruthless
monarch that has caused the suffering of many people and has kept
his power purely through his understanding and great power of the
arcane. Although most days he stays up in his manor, the citizens live
their lives in fear of his corrupted rule. The arena has been closed in
order to renovate it after the blood stains and the broken pillars. It has
been under construction for sometime now and will soon be
completed. In the Market of Arcdut, there are several shops that
travelers will find to buy and sell their wares. There is the Sir Pestles,
the alchemy shop, where one can buy a variety of potions, poisons or
the ingredients for both. One could stay at the Arcdut Inn if they were
looking to stay in town or spend a while at the bar in order to talk to
their patrons. Hammer & Anvil has a variety of weapons, heavy armor
and tools. I hear Lotin is having a sale in a fortnight or so. The
Swashbuckler has a plethora of bows, arrows, medium and light armor
and one-handed weapons. HalRaths Evocation sells many different
magical items, staves, wands, scrolls etc. Many of the other shops
have been closed by Kings Orders and are boarded up. The Mages
Guild and Fighters Guild are located to the southwest of the city and
are open during normal day hours to non-members. Although one must
inquire with them for membership. In the south entrance to town, there
is a wanted board where one can find miscellaneous criminals at-large
and can bring them to justice for a reward of course. Some beggars
litter the streets on every other corner or hallway. Recently, the
citizens have been noticing the beggars disappearing but havent
asked anything of it. The town guards all live in the barracks next to
Fosts Manor. The gate to Fosts Manor and said barracks has recently
been closed to the public. Outside the city lay the stables and a clear
path to the Highland Road.
